Our elections in America are a hot mess for three specific reasons: Mail-in balloting is inherently flawed; machines used for voting are needlessly complex pieces of crap designed to facilitate cheating; and Democrats cheat.
Despite claims that our elections are “safe and secure” – sort of like a COVID vaccine, but with less myocarditis – our elections are an embarrassment to the world. A school board election in New Jersey that was voted on more than two months ago has just been overturned, when it was accidentally discovered that a tabulator – one of the infernally, needlessly complicated machines that counts ballots – made a mistake wider than the margin of victory.
In Ocean City Township, NJ, Steve Clayton initially appeared to have won a school board election by 20 votes over Jeffrey Weinstein – 3,523 to 3,503. But then a mistake was discovered in six voting districts across four municipalities in Monmouth County, NJ. When the votes were recounted, Jeffrey Weinstein won the contest by a single vote. They’re now going to have to recanvass the county and re-certify the election with Weinstein as the actual winner. And again, this was way back in the November midterm elections, and the contest is only now being overturned in January!
The tabulators in Ocean City Township are purchased from Election Systems and Software (ES&S). That’s one of two companies that has been called into question ever since the 2020 election, because the results of tabulation on those machines don’t appear to mirror the reality of votes cast. ES&S claims that a human error must have caused the discrepancy that changed the outcome of the election.
Sure. The Monmouth County Board of Elections only discovered the error during an internal investigation. ES&S supposedly had no idea that the error occurred, so they never even looked for it.
This follows on the heels of two additional election scandals that happened in New Jersey. One incident happened in Monmouth County, in the town of Manalapan. An election worker pulled two USB sticks out of a tabulator before the results had been fully uploaded to the machine. One of the USB sticks had results on it, and the other didn’t, so election officials couldn’t tell which one had the REAL results on it.
If your system is so self-complicated that it cannot tell A from B, maybe it’s a system that is too needlessly complicated to be using it?
A Superior Court judge granted Monmouth County permission to crack open the voting machines to determine the outcome of two Township Committee seats in Manalapan. Surprise! Republicans won those two votes when they sorted it out correctly.
In the other incident, Mercer County, NJ’s machines from Dominion Voting Systems (remember them?) caused so many problems that they had to print a huge number of paper ballots for people to vote on. It was sort of like what happened in Maricopa County, Arizona, but on a much smaller scale. The investigation into what happened there is still ongoing. An unknown number of ballots in Mercer County disappeared. They were nowhere to be found. Election officials suspect that the ballots are inside a Dominion machine, and a judge has granted permission to the Mercer County Board of Elections to start cracking machines open to look for the missing ballots. We don’t know when that’s going to happen, though.
You just can’t make this stuff up.
The obvious question that arises in this is, if a tabulator can change the results of an election on a small scale, as happened in Ocean City Township, could not multiple tabulators across multiple states change the results of a presidential election?
Obvious question, obvious answer: Yes.
This is why no one trusts our elections any longer. Sure, these counties in New Jersey will “investigate” the machines. But no one in authority in New Jersey is calling for the machines to be dragged over to the Jersey Shore and hurling them into the Atlantic Ocean, never to be used again.
When you have problem after problem after problem with voting machines and tabulators and ballot printers and ballot counting machines, over and over again, the solution seems pretty obvious. The fact that they keep insisting that it’s always a “human error” and not the machines’ fault, or the fault of the election machine companies, tells you a lot, doesn’t it?

Sadly, those who can take steps to remedy the situation so obvious to us, cannot, or will not do the work to change the current situation, or the future of our voting procedures.
I used to be optimistic about election integrity, and the real possibility of positive change.
Not any more.
The midterms need to be eliminated. As docs were found on Nov 2nd and they kept it a secret for the midterm election. This isn’t right. It needs to be redone as the dems kept it underwraps . Bidens and others are sneaks and they need to be proven wrong. The Supreme Court should override the election and it should and must be redone. Trump was condemn Continously and still is. Biden needs to be treated worse as he was vp and never had the right to take docs home. He feels he is indispensable. He again needs to be proven he is NOT ABOVE THE LAW
That’s right Cheyenne. We don’t want to be guilty of “ voter suppression”…… you know, when you’re required to show an ID
I’ve lost all faith in election integrity….AOC supposedly won her district with over 70% of the vote there.
Now I realize it’s New York, but even there, 70%……..AOC?!!! Really?!! C’mon Man!!, even in NY there can’t be that many idiots to vote for this ingratiating poor excuse of a human being. That’s staggering!! 70%….I’m just stupefied by that figure.
Anyway, yep….elections just aren’t held fairly any longer
Would love to see the 2022 Mid-term election in Arizona overturned. Our candidate for Governor, Kari Lake was robbed of vistory by numerous election day voting tabulators, wrong size ballots, no chain of command for mail in ballots, and a myriad of other problems. Mrs Lake is suing and it’s currently at the appellate level court. I feel she has a very strong case. her opponent, Katie Hobbs, was the sitting Secretary of State, in charge of the election. She should have recused herself from that position, so as not to cast doubts of conflict of interest. But since she didn’t, we Arizonians have huge doubts as to the validity of the outcome of the election. Like Biden, Katie Hobbs rarely campaigned, and when she did speak, she would be lucky to have 50 people show up in her support, where as Kari Lake campaigned tirelessly for almost 2 years, drawing thousands of supporters at all her campaign stops. Katie Hobbs also refused to debate Kari Lake. Yet somehow this very unpopular candidate won by 17000 votes. Extremely unlikely.
Voter fraud has become standard procedure and the purpose is to ensure that democrats maintain absolute power in the U.S. Seems only conservatives are ever investigated or charged or even humiliated.
Seems we’re past the moment in history when the GOP should have launched a strong defense. Most voters demand exposure of all criminal activity. Starting points range from Eric Holder to Adam Schiff to Alejandro Mayorkas and even Merrick Garland.
The horrible hypocrisy is on stage now with the CIC (Coprolite in Chief) who seems to be escaping any investigation. Seems he’s guilty of inexcusable and careless misuse of classified material — as a vice president.
His conservative counterpart now suffers under the full weight of the federal government even though he has the authority. Perhaps it’s time to throw the book at the CIC. He’s unaware of his surroundings and may not notice.
I have been maintaining just that for years now. Has anyone listened? Not that I have noticed.
It’s sad that someone will do anything to get power or rewards in cash in the political arena. these elections were the worst that I’ve seen in the last seventy years on earth that I have been noticing elections. There have been questionable elections in the past, but not in the proportions that occurred within the last few years. Billions of dollars have been spent to get some elected and I wonder why. Apparently, power, power and power. Can be the reason.
we need to get rid of these computerized machines and go back to the old machines where you pulled the lever to register your vote.
no more mail in votes, no more early voting just vote on Election Day period.
