Even as federal and state governments are refusing to ensure that our elections are ACTUALLY secure, small towns are taking matters into their own hands and for some reason, the Department of Justice is FUMING OVER IT.
Multiple small towns in the corrupt swing state of Wisconsin have decided that they’re going to ABANDON electronic voting machines, choosing instead to rely on good ol’ faithful paper ballots to be counted by hand.
So far, Thornapple, and Lawrence have been the towns opting to make the move, saying that they believe the paper ballots prove a more transparent and trustworthy alternative without the risk of technological “errors” or tampering like we’ve seen in past elections.
But while these towns are looking to ensure that they hold legitimate elections, the Justice Department is threatening to SUE THEM to stop them from doing just that.
Why would Biden’s DOJ get so mad over efforts to make our elections more secure? Unless, of course, they know that the Democrats would NEVER win an election without enormous amounts of fraud!
Using the B.S. excuse that the towns changes fail to account for “accessible voting equipment for individuals with disabilities” a complaint has already been filed against Thornapple with the ultra-liberal Wisconsin Elections Commission.
The complaint states that Thornapple conducted their Wisconsin primary on hand-counted, paper ballots, despite a warning from AG Merrick Garland.
“Disability Rights Wisconsin” is the group behind the complaint and they claim that not having electronic voting machines is a violation of the Help America Vote Act.
“By ceasing to use electronic voting equipment and, instead, exclusively using paper ballots completed and tabulated by hand, Respondents are no longer using voting systems that are accessible for individuals with disabilities in a manner that provides the same opportunity for access and participation (including privacy and independence) as for other voters,” the complaint said.
These leftists groups are trying to use this desperate angle to keep electronic voting machines in play, the very same machines that even far-left outlets like Politico have admitted can EASILY be hacked and tampered with in mere minutes.
Kristen Clarke, Assistant Attorney General in the Civil Rights Division of the DOJ has already made it clear that they are prepared to rain hell on these small towns, filing lawsuits against them until they bend the knee and go back to using the Democrats preferred method for counting votes: electronic machines.
“This is to notify you that I have authorized the filing of a lawsuit on behalf of the United States against the State of Wisconsin, the Wisconsin Elections Commission, the Commission Administrator, the Town of Thornapple, the Town of Lawrence, and the Town Clerks and Town Board Supervisors of Thornapple and Lawrence, pursuant to Section 301 of the Help America Vote Act of 2002 (“HAVA”), 52 U.S.C. § 21081,” a letter sent to the election officials by Clarke’s office reads.
Thornapple election officials, meanwhile, are REFUSING to comply, standing tall against a weaponized DOJ that is VERY clearly on a mission to ensure that the Democrats have the means to rig this election.
After all, how else is the least popular Vice President in history, Kamala Harris, supposed to win the presidency?
