President Biden just approved sending 31 American Abrams M1 tanks to Ukraine – with Putin responding by assuring the American tanks will BURN.
This Ukraine fiasco is getting messier by the day.
“With spring approaching, Ukrainian forces are working to defend the territory they hold and preparing for additional counter offenses to liberate their land. They need to be able to counter Russia’s evolving tactics and strategy on the battlefield in the very near term. They need to improve their ability to maneuver and open terrain, and they need an enduring capability to deter and defend against Russian aggression over the long term,” Biden said.
“Today, I’m announcing that the United States will be sending 31 Abram tanks to Ukraine, the equivalent of one Ukrainian battalion,” he said.
The commitment comes as part of ANOTHER new $400 million aid package going towards Ukraine, bringing the overall U.S. commitment to Ukraine to approximately $113 billion.
Biden said the U.S. would also give Ukraine the spare parts and equipment necessary to sustain the tanks on the battlefield, and that Ukrainian troops would be trained on sustainment, logistics, and maintenance “as soon as possible.”
Russia responded almost immediately with a barrage of airstrikes targeting Ukrainian energy infrastructure.
Moscow said that it will consider the Western tank deliveries as confirming the Western allies’ “direct involvement in the conflict.”
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov also said that the US-made tanks will “burn.”
“I am certain that many experts understand the absurdity of this idea. The plan is disastrous in terms of technology,” Peskov said.
“But above all, it overestimates the potential it will add to the Ukrainian army. These tanks burn just like all the others.”
But Biden has in the past admitted that sending tanks to Ukraine would be World War 3 – could that be exactly what he wants?!
The president is facing a rapidly deteriorating American economy and a full-scale war – while having the potential to cost millions of American lives – would provide an economic boost thanks to the increased defense spending.
It could also be that Biden is just so completely determined to get rid of Putin that he’s willing to kick the proxy war in Ukraine up a notch, potentially provoking a direct retaliation on America.
After all, as noted earlier Moscow did admit that they see this as a “DIRECT INVOLVEMENT” in the conflict.
While the motivations are not yet entirely clear, one thing is for certain: Joe Biden and the rest of these D.C. tyrants are putting us all in danger and a nuclear conflict could erupt any day now.
