A lot of people forgot about former Virginia Governor Ralph Northam’s (D) disgusting abortion bill when his old yearbook photos were released. Northam couldn’t remember if he had dressed up in blackface or a Klan hood, and that story sucked all the oxygen out of the room. But we should remember Northam’s comments about “making the baby comfortable” before killing it if it is born alive in a Planned Parenthood clinic.
Where will Democrats draw the line on this? Apparently, they don’t have one. Maryland Democrats have proposed a bill that would allow babies to be killed up to 28 days after they are born.
You’re probably already thinking, “This has to be some kind of sick joke. There’s no way anyone would propose a bill that allows people to murder a 28-day-old baby.”
But it’s true.
Maryland state Senator William Smith has sponsored the “Pregnant Person’s Freedom Act of 2022.” Pregnant PERSONS. Because in Democrat fantasyland, men can get pregnant too.
The bill is designated Senate Bill 669, and you can read the text of it on the Maryland government website HERE. The first hearing for the bill has been set for March 15th.
The bill would prevent law enforcement from investigating if a woman or an abortion doctor fails to act in a “perinatal death.”
The word “perinatal” is what elevates this from a just-plain-evil bill to a bill that is so over-the-top-evil that normal people should recoil in horror from it. The word “perinatal” is not defined in Smith’s legislation. However, a separate Maryland law defines the “perinatal” period as running between the 20th week of pregnancy, to “1 to 4 weeks” after the baby is born. Four weeks = 28 days.
Not only is this the most radical lurch toward evil that we’ve ever seen the Democrat Party make, but the bill would also rewrite Maryland’s laws on manslaughter and murder. It’s a sad fact that some women murder their newborns. With Joe Biden’s southern border fentanyl onslaught that is hammering America right now, the statistics on newborn murders would probably shock all of us (if anyone bothered to track it).
We see news stories about this sad phenomenon all the time. Women toss their newborns in dumpsters. Teenagers give birth in public toilets and leave the baby to die. A mom drives the car into a lake with the baby in the backseat and leaves her there to drown.
But whenever these stories happen, the cops always investigate, and the mothers are almost always charged with manslaughter or murder. As they should be. But under Senate Bill 669 in Maryland, state and local law enforcement would be completely prohibited from investigating if an abandoned baby is found dead beside the road. Too bad that the mother exhibited a “failure to care” for the baby under SB669. If the baby is under 28 days of age, she’ll face no charges and won’t be the subject of a criminal investigation.
A living, breathing, crying baby with her eyes open could be abandoned to freeze or starve to death, and this new Democrat bill says that’s okay. Nothing could be done to punish the person or persons who caused the baby’s death if SB669 becomes law.
The irony of this is that Maryland already has a “safe haven” law in place for newborns. There’s absolutely no reason to allow women to toss their babies in a dumpster. If a Maryland woman is unable or unwilling to care for a newborn, they can drop the baby off at a health clinic, hospital or police station – no questions asked! She doesn’t even have to tell them who she is, because the people receiving the baby on the spur of the moment aren’t allowed to ask her questions. The baby’s life becomes the priority.
But babies’ lives have no priority in the eyes of Democrats. If we won’t draw the line at murdering babies 28 days after they are born, how long will it be before Democrats extend that to include children up to 3 years of age? How about extending the abortion limits until the child is in kindergarten? Why not go all the way and extend it to the child’s 18th birthday?
Here’s the really scary thing about this bill. The Democrats control the Maryland House and Senate, and Republican Governor Larry Hogan is pro-abortion. This could actually become the law of the land in Maryland if the people don’t rise up to oppose it.

My thought when I initially saw the bill number how do we prevent it now and in the future.
I knew that something like this would be coming down the pike because we a country makes a pact with the death industry, there is nowhere to go but down. This is horrifying . What this will continue to do is to show how our abortion laws have and always will be at war with itself. The EVIL of abortion continues to raise its horrifying head. If more people were made aware of these Bills as this one and all Bills they would be more in favor of being shot down!!! This issue with the Bills being written into legislature needs to be brought to the attention of the citizens this means we the people need written and verbal notification of what is going on at the state level of such Bills meaning there needs to be notifications written in news papers flyers on radio talk shows commercials and much more, but the citizens need to be informed. This is why any and all Bills could pass because the only people that are aware of said Bill are people who support it and may have even brought it to the attention of the Senator attention. How many Bills have been passed due to the oversight of people it effects, while a small number are pleased.
I read the bill and I did not see anything about a time limit of 28 days or weeks. I am totally opposed to abortion. But I do recommend that everyone read the bill for themselves and become informed before making comment.

You don’t read very well. Maryland SB 669 attempts to do away with criminal penalties for aborting one’s “own” baby anywhere from the 20th week of pregnancy to the FOURTH week AFTER the baby is born. This is called the “Perinatal Period”. It also seeks to do away with criminal penalties for anyone ASSISTING a woman to abort her baby in this “Perinatal period”. Current law mandates that a licensed physician is the only person authorized to perform the abortion. The law seeks to allow the pregnant person to terminate her “”own” baby. This can be done without ANY investigation by the Police and without ANY penalty. MSB669 would allow a pregnant woman to terminate (kill) or ATTEMPT to terminate (kill) the woman’s “own” baby during the “Perinatal period” (20 weeks past conception to 1 month AFTER the baby is born). It holds a woman faultless and immune from prosecution for any “Perinatal death related to failure to act”. In other words, a baby already born who may be choking and dies because of a woman’s “failure to act” to save the baby CANNOT be investigated or prosecuted IF it happens in the first MONTH after birth. Anyone assisting the woman in allowing the child to die and failing to act to save the baby is also immune from penalty. This is a perverse,degenerate,miscreant,disgusting, malevolent, unconstitutional on its face, malicious, unconscionable, atrocious, satanic, EVIL bill. It MUST NOT be allowed to pass.

This is the most sickening thing I have ever heard. If they allow this bill to pass then they should be charged with murder. It’s bad enough if they allow women to get abortion after abortion when they get pregnant and they don’t want the baby, instead of helping them to not get pregnant in the first place, but to actually say that you can kill the baby up to 4 weeks after it’s born. I can’t believe what I just read. Satan is alive and well in this country and the Demo are leading the way. I agree that those that are for this bill should have been aborted by their parents. Murder is murder any way and time you look at it. Those proposing this bill will pay for their actions, maybe not in this life but I wouldn’t want to face what they will eventually!!!
