Democrats are opposing a new piece of legislation that aims to prevent illegal aliens from voting in US elections…gee I wonder why!
The SAVE Act amends the 1993 National Voter Registration Act, which enabled driver’s license applicants to register to vote through state DMVs and required would-be voters to attest to their citizenship status when registering to vote, but did not require any proof of such citizenship.
Under the NVRA, voter registration basically works on the honor system – if you say you’re a citizen, you get to register, no questions asked!
Republicans have been spearheading the SAVE Act which simply adds the requirement of PROOF of citizenship into that.
It’s not exactly a ground-breaking piece of legislation and you’d expect that the Democrats who claim to support free and fair elections would be on board – but the fact that they’re not is rather telling.
Instead of supporting this election bill, Democrats have voiced their opposition to it and declared war on the piece of legislation that is simply trying to make our elections more safe and secure.
The Biden regime put out a statement announcing that they “strongly opposed” the SAVE Act and said it was “unnecessary.”
Biden’s White House wrote that it’s already illegal for “noncitizens” to vote in Federal elections but that’s an extremely misleading line which the Democrats love to fall back on.
It is TECHNICALLY illegal for noncitizens to vote in the elections but there is a subclause in the law which bars them from being prosecuted for doing so.
All they would have to do is claim that they “reasonably believed” they were a citizen at the time of registration, then poof, they’re off scot-free.
And it’s not exactly difficult to imagine that illegal aliens who broke the law to get into this country and faced no consequences would be willing to break the law once-more, ESPECIALLY if they know that AGAIN they will face no consequences.
The Biden regime went on to argue that the SAVE Act would only make it harder for Americans to vote without offering any proof as to how that would be the case but we are talking about the same people here who have said they think minorities are too dumb to obtain voter IDs…
In case it’s not immediately clear what the Democrats are up to here, Elon Musk pointed out that the ONLY reason Dems would oppose this is “because they want to cheat.”
Biden has used taxpayer money to import over 10 MILLION illegal aliens into America over the last four years and now more than ever, he’s looking to cash in on those votes.
And it’s certainly not just Biden. House Democrats are looking to benefit from the horde of illegal voters as well and as such have made it their mission to block the SAVE Act.
This single piece of legislation might be the ONLY thing that is capable of blocking the Democrats from stealing their way to another election “victory.”

I had to show birth certificate and marriage license to get drivers license to prove who I was to get the Gold star on my license so I could travel by air. So I have proved I was a us Citizen but now the Illegals are just given a drivers license and able to vote? that is treason in my book by the states doing that. There should be some kind of notation on that license that shows they aren’t us citizens. This needs to stop. they are giving our country away. The Constitution was written so Americans who are citizens can vote for President, VP, Senators, House of Representatives, etc. It allows for Americans to have a voice. It says nothing about letting people who come here break the laws and try to vote, even though they don’t understand American values or our laws.
No illegals should not be allowed to vote for they are not citizens. Until someone becomes a citizen they should not be able to vote. If we went to any other place in the world and we were not citizens of that country we would not be allowed to vote, so the laws of the land should be followed.

In 2020, many voting locations would count the ballots put under tables, pull them out after many poll workers left, then count them not caring if they were signed, changed Trumps name to Bidens.
