After more than a year of the United States funneling hundreds of billions of dollars into Ukraine, everyone is finally questioning: what the heck are we even doing there?
The only thing U.S. intervention has done is accelerate the conflict and bring the world closer to a nuclear war which is exactly why Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis says we should have NEVER gotten involved/
DeSantis echoed the sentiments of many sane Americans, referring to the conflict as fundamentally a “territorial dispute” which the US should stay out of.
He added that Biden’s policy towards the conflict has basically given Ukraine – one of the most corrupt countries in recent history – a blank check paid for by the American tax-payer. Here’s a few billion to comfort you for being bombed.
He further noted that all Biden has done is erode U.S. interests and allow the matter to “distract” from the URGENT needs we have here at home (not that Sleepy Joe needs a reason to be distracted!)
The Florida Governor hinted a bit of what his own foreign policy might look like should he land the role of Commander-in-Chief in 2024, saying the United States government “cannot prioritize intervention in an escalating foreign war over the defense of our own homeland.”
And its true! While Biden has been so focused on his buddies in Ukraine, our border is more wide open than EVER before and there is a seemingly endless flood of dangerous illegals entering the country.
“While the U.S. has many vital national interests — securing our borders, addressing the crisis of readiness within our military, achieving energy security and independence, and checking the economic, cultural, and military power of the Chinese Communist Party — becoming further entangled in a territorial dispute between Ukraine and Russia is not one of them,” DeSantis said.
The Biden administration has also BLOCKED peace talks from occurring between Kiev and Moscow – signaling they WANT this war to go on so they can punish Russia. But as DeSantis notes this has forced Russia into “a de facto alliance” with China.
“Because China has not and will not abide by the embargo, Russia has increased its foreign revenues while China benefits from cheaper fuel. Coupled with his intentional depletion of the Strategic Petroleum Reserve and support for the Left’s Green New Deal, Biden has further empowered Russia’s energy-dominated economy and Putin’s war machine at Americans’ expense,” the Florida governor said.
Effectively, Biden’s complete FAILURE of policy has created a situation where two of the most powerful military powers in the world have teamed up with a common enemy: America!
And it gets worse because it’s not just them. Several middle eastern countries have seized on the opportunity to join the anti-U.S. alliance and if this war continues to escalate, the United States could be DESTROYED by this dangerous new coalition… OVER UKRAINE!
At the same time, Biden has accidentally slipped up and admitted he wants to usher in a “regime change” over in Russia – which DeSantis warns will CERTAINLY result in nuclear war.
He said that any attempt to remove Putin from power “would greatly increase the stakes of the conflict, making the use of nuclear weapons more likely.”
“Such a policy would neither stop the death and destruction of the war, nor produce a pro-American, Madisonian constitutionalist in the Kremlin. History indicates that Putin’s successor, in this hypothetical, would likely be even more ruthless,” he wrote. “The costs to achieve such a dubious outcome could become astronomical.”
If you’ve been following closely, then you know that the people financially backing a DeSantis 2024 run are the same neocon financiers that brought us the campaign of Jeb Bush back in 2016.
Governor DeSantis’s reasonable and common-sense response to the Ukraine question has made the heads of his own donors explode. They’re furious with him now, because the correct response was supposed to be more WAR WAR WAR for eternity.
“This is very disappointing,” tweeted Mark Levin. “I’ll discuss on radio this evening.”
Uh oh! Certain people are probably having discussions right now, because DeSantis says that defending Ukraine is “not a vital US interest.” It’s going to be interesting now to see what route DeSantis takes. Blatantly opposing his own deep pocketed donors on their most important foreign policy objective suggests he isn’t willing to bend to the will of neoconservatives, no matter if they give him money or not.
Biden’s incompetence has never been more clear than it is now and DeSantis’ powerful response detailing what the U.S. should have actually done suggests we would be in a MUCH better place without old Joe calling the shots!
We must get out of the Ukraine. How many Americans have died in the fighting. YES AMERICANS WHO “train” the Ukrainians on all the equipment and weapons we send to the Ukraine. How long does it tKe to conduct the necessary training, in addition to the locations of the training.

How do we fight anyone while being 31 trillion dollars in debt? Just in case you weren’t paying attention, wars are incredibly expensive, and thanks to Biden, we’re effectively broke, no money, poor.
