Former CIA officer and station chief Scott Uehlinger suggested that the left-wing corruption of federal agencies has gotten so bad that it may be too late to save them.
Uehlinger said that the only way these intelligence agencies will be able to be cleansed of political and partisan corruption is if the president has the unitary power over the federal government’s personnel decisions.
Retired Navy SEAL and FBI agent Jonathan Gilliam spoke with Uehlinger about the blatant left-wing politicization of federal intelligence agencies.
“It’s a real cause of concern, not just among regular folks, but [among] people who served in these agencies,” Uehlinger said, emphasizing that leftist political ideologies has infiltrated every aspect of the agencies.
He remarked, “The infection in these organizations is not just the political appointees. It’s basically everyone from mid-grade-level and up, if not lower because they’re all the recipients of a super-liberal education.”
“They just graduate from college with this really bizarre worldview, for the most part,” he added. “Unfortunately, I kind of agree with the idea of breaking them up because I don’t really see how they can be reformed in any kind of a meaningful way unless the president has the power to basically fire every federal employee at will.”
Gilliam said that in the meantime, conservatives need to fight to gain entry into these institutions to prevent the scale from tipping even further in the left’s favor.
“I think conservatives should flood all the agencies,” Gilliam said, “and I think that they should do the same thing with politics. I don’t care if they run as a Democrat or a Republican. We should be getting conservatives in everywhere, as much as possible.”
He concluded, “Republicans never played the long game. In ten years, those people will start to make rank, and in 15 years, they’ll be at the top, and then they can change the recruit divisions. … It’s not a short game. We’re never going get somebody that’s a president that’s gonna depoliticize the FBI or the CIA.”
We have already seen just how dangerous a weaponized FBI can be, with their numerous politically motivated attacks against President Trump and his allies as the Democrats hope to win in 2024 by ensuring whoever the Democrat candidate is has no opponent to run against.
And the agencies may be even more nefarious than we are fully aware of, amid reports that they have teamed up with powerful big tech platforms to spy on and silence conservatives.
One particular report recently revealed that Facebook has been spying on the private messages of American users and reporting them to the FBI if they express anti-government sentiments or question the results of the 2020 election.
A whistleblower stated, “It was done outside the legal process and without probable cause. Facebook provides the FBI with private conversations which are protected by the First Amendment without any subpoena.”
And this is just one example that we have now been made aware of, but there are many more like this and unless something changes, there will continue to be many more as the agencies grow bolder in their efforts to silence conservative thought in America.
