It’s Time for Common Sense Gun Control Measures (But Only For the IRS)

We are staunch defenders of the Second Amendment around here. We think that concealed-carry permits are unconstitutional and everyone should be allowed to carry as many guns as they want at all times for personal protection.

But we’re also hypocritical about gun rights. You see, there is one group of Americans that we would like to see completely disarmed. You know who we’re talking about, right? Those people. *Whispering: “The I-R-S!”*

Fortunately, Congressman Barry Moore (R-AL) has reintroduced legislation called the “Why Does the IRS Need Guns Act.” If signed into law, the W-DINGA bill would strip the IRS of its massive stockpile of guns, ammunition, and military equipment.

“The only thing IRS agents should be armed with are calculators,” says Rep. Moore.

We couldn’t agree more.

Most Americans don’t realize it, but the Bush administration, the Obama administration, and the unelected Poopy-Pants Biden regime spent 18 of the last 22 years turning the IRS into a paramilitary organization. The IRS was already the most hated and terrifying federal agency in existence. Bush, Obama, and Biden gave the IRS enough guns to take over a small country.

Since 2006, the federal government has spent $35.2 million in taxpayer money to provide the IRS with guns, ammo, and military gear. $10 million of that was spent during Joe Biden’s first year in office.

During Biden’s first year in charge, the IRS spent $474,000 on Smith & Wesson M&P 15 rifles; $463,000 on Beretta 1301 tactical shotguns; $243,000 on body armor; $2,300,000 on ammo; and $1,200,000 on ballistic riot shields. In case the IRS has to respond to a riot.

They also spent millions on night vision goggles, holsters, ballistic helmets, and other tactical gear. There’s one line item in the IRS’s budget that shows they spent $1,300,000 on “various other gear for criminal investigation agents.” That’s infuriating.

Pro Tip: The next time you itemize your expenses on your taxes to send them to the IRS, avoid listing anything like “various other gear.” The IRS doesn’t like vague listings on things when you fill out your expenses. They might show up at your house with tactical shotguns and riot shields if you do that.

After the 2020 election was stolen and the Deep State installed the dementia puppet in the White House, the IRS built up an astonishing amount of guns and ammo to use against the American people. The IRS had 5 million rounds of ammo and more than 4,500 guns in 2021, including tactical shotguns and semiautomatic rifles.

But the agency only has 2,159 “special agents” who can be armed. Allegedly.

“The IRS has consistently been weaponized against American citizens, targeted religious organizations, journalists, gun owners, and everyday Americans,” says Rep. Moore. “Arming these agents does not make the American public safer.”

Amen!

If there’s one thing Americans have had to painfully learn in the wake of 9/11, it’s this: If you give any law enforcement agency access to paramilitary equipment, it looks for excuses to do paramilitary things.

Can you think of any sort of mistake you might make on your taxes that would justify the IRS sending goons with shotguns and rifles to your house? Even if the IRS were to discover some sort of outrageous tax crime being committed, they could just send the US Marshals or local police to make the arrest. We already have one secret policy agency terrorizing the American people (the FBI). Why do they need a second one?

Can you think of any benevolent reason why the IRS would need millions of dollars in weapons and ammo? I can’t. The only possible reasons I can come up with all sound like conspiracy theories.

Representatives Harriet Hageman (R-WY), Mary Miller (R-IL), and Clay Higgins (R-LA) have all signed on as co-sponsors to the W-DINGA bill. (Republicans really need to work on their acronyms when naming bills.) The federal government has been weaponized against the American people for years now. Nothing illustrates that more than the accountants at the IRS packing tactical shotguns and night vision goggles.

If the bill is passed into law, it would disarm the IRS, auction their guns off to FFL owners, and sell the ammo to the public. That would be a great start. We’re also hoping that the IRS will cease to exist once President Trump’s tariffs are funding the federal government.
