So I guess we have to talk about that dumpster fire of a debate on Tuesday night. Kamala Harris will now hide from the media for the next eight weeks and we won’t be hearing from her again in any sort of setting where she has to answer questions.
Every person that I’ve talked to about the Trump-Harris debate had the exact same reaction: Kamala obviously had all the questions in advance so she could rehearse her lines. Her answers were waaaay too polished.
I’m just amazed that they managed to pump enough Naltrexone into her system to get her through the debate.
No matter how “good” her answers seemed, Kamala is a bad actress. She sounded like a serious person for the first time in three-and-a-half years.
Every time she has spoken publicly since she’s been the vice president, she has delivered incomprehensible and cringey word salads that don’t make sense, interspersed with maniacal cackling to cover up the times when she has no idea what to say.
That wasn’t the Kamala we saw on Tuesday night. There’s a reason for that, and the reason’s name is Dana Walden.
Walden is Kamala Harris’s best friend. She is a senior executive at Disney. Dana Walden and her husband introduced Kamala to her nanny-impregnating weirdo husband, Doug Emhoff. That’s how close the two are. For those who don’t remember, Disney owns ABC News.
It doesn’t take a genius to connect the dots and realize that ABC News gave Kamala Harris every possible advantage in the debate, up to and including giving her debate team all the questions in advance.
The fact that Kamala Harris’s best friend is one of the big bosses over ABC News is such a conflict of interest that this particular debate should never have happened. Do we even have a Commission on Presidential Debates in this country any longer? Or did we do away with that when they were covering up Diaper Joe’s dementia in 2020 and they suddenly didn’t do three debates?
The biggest frustration is that Republican candidates keep participating in this farce of a system. As soon as Kamala Harris crapped out and refused to do the Fox News debate, a Trump campaign spokesperson should have come out and made this announcement:
“Kamala Harris is too much of a moral coward and intellectual lightweight to even answer moderately challenging questions on Fox News. Presidential debates on liberal media outlets have become a running joke in America. Far too many times, we have seen liberal debate moderators hurl themselves at the feet of the Democrat candidate and eagerly begin licking their boots in a sycophantic display of shameless partisanship. That ends now.
“President Trump is willing to debate Kamala Harris in front of any hostile moderator in any forum. He will debate her on ABC News, NBC News, CBS News, CNN, MSNBC, or any other outlet. He will do ten debates with her if she is willing. But before that happens, Kamala Harris must agree to and participate in just ONE debate in front of moderators who are not part of the Democrat Party’s cheerleading squad.
“The debate can be hosted by Fox News, Newsmax, Breitbart News, the Gateway Pundit, or any other right-of-center venue. But Kamala must participate in just ONE challenging debate first, in the interest of fairness and impartiality. Until Kamala Harris agrees to that, there will be no presidential debates. The ball is now in the Harris campaign’s court. If she is too much of a coward to handle one debate in which she is asked challenging questions that she does not know beforehand, then she is unworthy of debating Donald Trump.”
Mic drop.
The moment that the Harris campaign refused to do the Fox News interview, Trump’s campaign should have put its foot down and stopped the process. No Fox News debate, no debates at all. Period. Trump didn’t participate in any of the Republican primary debates this year, and he still won the nomination overwhelmingly. Why not take the same approach to Kamala since the media will never play fair anyway?
Overall, Trump won the debate and every poll shows that. He delivered a powerful closing statement in which he asked the key question in this election. Kamala has had three and a half years to do all the wonderful things she’s promising. Why hasn’t she done them?
