President Trump Ends the George Floyd Policies That Were Destroying America

It’s hard to quantify just how much damage the Democrat Party did to the US by reordering all of American society around a hardened criminal who died of a fentanyl overdose (George Floyd). Every major city in the US decided overnight that it would no longer enforce the laws. No cash bail and defunding the police were supposed to make the country a better, safer place for all Americans. It would stop all the invisible racism vapors in the air. Or something. How’d that work out?

We all know the answer. It’s been a hellish decline everywhere from Philadelphia to Sacramento ever since. A lowlife thug or drug addict commits a violent crime and immediately gets out without having to post bail. So, he commits another crime because he knows the laws are no longer being enforced.

Since President Donald Trump invoked home rule in Washington, DC, on August 14th, crime is sharply down in the city. DC Metro police and federal officers have made over 1,000 felony arrests. They’re not all nancy-boy sandwich throwers. The cops are arresting hardened criminals and they’re being forced to put up bail money (which they don’t have).

As for the nonsense about DC crime being at a “30-year low,” that’s preposterous. With the surge in National Guard troops, the number of felony arrests has increased by 150% per day, compared to July. Washington, DC, has had zero murders in the past 11 days (as of this writing). Vice President Vance perfectly illustrated how big of a deal Trump’s actions have had on the Capitol. “This town averaged 1 murder every other day for the last 20-30 years, which means in two short weeks the president and his team have saved six or seven lives, people who would have been killed on the streets of DC,” If this lasts another six days, it will be the longest consecutive streak with zero murders in DC since the 1970s.

This good news from DC is coupled with an unrelated story, which is that National Guard troops are being mobilized in 19 states. This surge is unrelated to the DC actions and has been in the works for a while.

ICE is going through a hiring frenzy right now, but it takes time to get new agents trained and activated. The National Guard troops will be activated under Title 32 to provide logistical support to ICE. They’re being called up in 18 red states and New Mexico.

Contrary to what the fake news media is telling everyone, this won’t be a guns-in-the-streets posse comitatus situation. One problem ICE is running into is all the paperwork. Every time they raid a car wash or one of Gavin Newsom’s weed farms, they have to process all the people they’ve arrested. This ties them up at the office for the rest of the day.

The National Guard troops will be doing things like fingerprinting and photographing the illegals, doing DNA swabs, and data entry. Lots of backroom clerical-type work. This frees up the ICE agents to go raid another Home Depot parking lot. Meanwhile, residents in the cities where the troops are activated won’t even be seeing them on a day-to-day basis.

That’s not the case in DC, however, because DC is federal property. Democrats are getting huffy about it because they don’t want you to remember Joe Biden’s illegitimate inauguration. Remember that? There were almost 20,000 armed soldiers in DC that day. In fairness to the Biden-ites, they had a legitimate concern that we were going to do a real insurrection because of the fake and stolen 2020 election.

Attorney General Pam Bondi tweeted the arrest statistics from the past 11 days in DC. One person responded, “High Fives!! Makes one realize just how bad things were!!”

We suspect it’s like that in cities across America in the post-George Floyd era. People forget how nice things were not that long ago.

Chicago, San Francisco, and New York City’s leaders are now foaming at the mouth because President Trump says he’ll send in troops to help clean up their cities. Imagine being upset about that! Trump signed an executive order on Monday, to cut off federal funds to cities that implement no cash bail and other pro-crime policies.

Why did Americans put up with this for so long? City parks should be places where our kids can go outside, enjoy nature, play, and be kids. Instead, they’re filled with junkies, hoboes, illegal aliens, and sex offenders. We’re being taxed for parks and other public spaces we can no longer use.

So, the failed George Floyd policies are coming to an end. It’s about time. It won’t help Derek Chauvin get his life back, but it will make the country a much better place to live.
