A couple of weeks ago, voter registration champion Scott Presler turned in enough signatures to flip Bucks County, Pennsylvania from blue to red. This is a huge deal. Bucks County is basically a populous suburb of both Philadelphia, PA and Trenton, NJ. We’re not even sure how many years that county has had more registered Democrats than Republicans.
Last week, Presler turned in enough signatures to flip Luzerne County, PA from blue to red. This guy could singlehandedly help carry President Trump to victory in Pennsylvania this year.
Trump won Luzerne County in 2020 by about 22,000 votes over Joe Biden. You might not think flipping it from blue to red is a big deal, but every vote is going to count in Pennsylvania this year. Whatever total Trump gets in Luzerne County gets added to the statewide total.
Bucks County is a much bigger deal. It was one of the handful of counties that Joe Biden won in Pennsylvania in 2020. He beat Trump by about 13,000 votes that year. Also, we have to keep in mind that Democrats massively cheated in Pennsylvania and the suburbs. Every vote for Trump puts a stolen election that much further out of their reach.
Newly registered voters are one of the most likely demographics to vote in the upcoming election. They wouldn’t have registered for the first time if they weren’t motivated to help send President Trump back to his rightful place in the White House.
Scott Presler has been absolutely tireless in working to get unregistered conservatives to finally register to vote in Pennsylvania. He’s going to gun shows, farmer’s markets, truck stops, and gatherings of the Amish. The Biden-Harris regime has been so oppressive to the rights of the Amish that they’re finally registering to vote for the first time in hundreds of years. Their only other option besides voting for Trump would be to go join that splinter group of the Amish down in Mexico, and that’s an awful long trip from Pennsylvania with a horse and buggy.
Pennsylvania is likely to be very close this year, and there is no good reason for that. A large majority of Pennsylvanians are fairly conservative and would vote Republican—if they even bothered to vote. This is a problem that Republicans have in most states. We’re a bit lazy and it’s our fault that the country is going to hell in a handbasket. How else would you explain John Cornyn continually getting reelected to the Senate in Texas, other than the laziness of Republican primary voters?
We have to get conservative people off their butts and get them voting this year. That’s why the efforts of Scott Presler are so invaluable. It’s too bad we don’t have 50 Scott Preslers out there. It’s impossible to predict what will happen in Pennsylvania based on the polls right now. Trump and Kamala Harris are basically tied there. About half of the polls say Harris will win and the other half say it will be Trump.
Marist, the Washington Post, CBS News, and CNN all have Pennsylvania a statistical tie in their polling. Rasmussen Reports, which is one of the only polling outlets that gives us fairly accurate estimates, has Trump winning nationally by a 2-point margin, 49% to 47%.
Another area that should give us hope is the fact that Independent voters hate Kamala Harris across the board. She has a 60% disapproval rating among Independents, which might actually be a world record for presidential candidates.
In other election-related news, the Georgia Board of Elections has voted and given final approval to a new rule that requires the hand counting of all ballots. The hand counts must match the machine counts, otherwise, counties are prohibited from certifying their results until a full investigation takes place. Joe Biden’s team abandoned any plans to campaign in Georgia earlier this year because it looked too far out of reach for them to win with new election integrity rules in place. The Harris campaign (which is the exact same people) doesn’t think they can win Georgia with her, either.
There are also rumblings that Nebraska could finally change its election laws so that it becomes a winner-take-all state. That could put one more electoral vote in President Trump’s column. Democrats cannot reciprocate this by changing Maine to a winner-take-all state, because there’s not enough time to make it happen before the election under their existing laws.
In the meantime, keep cheering on Scott Presler. The dude is a machine at registering Republican voters. If President Trump wins Pennsylvania, it will largely be due to Presler’s efforts.
