America has brought in so many Muslim immigrants since the War on Terror that they’ve opened up Sharia law courts in many states. Texas Governor Greg Abbott called for an investigation into a Sharia Tribunal that’s been operating in Dallas since 2015. It’s about time!
These Sharia tribunals are operated by imams and they enforce Sharia law in the Muslim communities. It almost sounds quaint, sort of like the Amish, until you remember that Sharia law calls for honor killings of daughters and ignoring all the laws of your host country.
Muslim immigration into Texas has been so prevalent that the East Plano Islamic Center (EPIC) was planning to build a segregated Muslim-only city there. It was going to be called EPIC City. Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton announced a criminal investigation into the developers this week. Paxton is accusing the developers of violating both state and federal security laws in their plans to build a segregated Sharia city just outside of Dallas. Paxton says a lawsuit against the developers is incoming.
A big question is how this Sharia Tribunal was allowed to operate in Dallas for TEN YEARS before anyone finally took action against it. Islam specifically teaches that the laws of any host country do not apply to them. (It’s a geopolitical philosophy of conquest, not a religion.) Anything that the panel of imams tells them in a tribunal supersedes local, state, and federal law.
Gov. Abbott signed a law that banned Sharia law in Texas back in 2017, but the Muslims simply ignored it. The Sharia Tribunal was supposed to be issuing non-binding arbitration rulings on divorce, family, and business disputes among the Muslims. Instead, the imams have been issuing rulings that should have been covered by state or even federal courts.
Abbott wasn’t done with simply shutting down Dallas’s Islamic Tribunal or initiating a state lawsuit against EPIC City. He also designated the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and the Muslim Brotherhood as foreign terrorist organizations.
It’s about time!
The foreign terrorist designation allows the state to pursue injunctions and penalties under the anti-gang and anti-terrorism laws of Texas. For those who don’t remember, the Muslim Brotherhood was the umbrella corporation that formed such popular subgroups as ISIS and Al Qaeda.
Former President Barack Obama’s brother was the global financier for the Muslim Brotherhood when Barack, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, the CIA, and the Muslim Brotherhood toppled the Egyptian government in 2012. Even though the Egyptian government was allied with the US, they replaced that government with the Muslim Brotherhood in a short-lived experiment. (See also: Libya, Syria, Mali, Central African Republic, Sudan, etc., etc., etc.)
Another question we should be asking is, why is Greg Abbott the only governor who is taking this problem seriously? The Islamic population in America has grown exponentially since George W. Bush’s presidency. It turns out that bombing civilians in foreign countries and then helping their enraged, revenge-seeking cousins move to Cleveland is not a good national policy. If you think that Sharia courts like the one in Dallas are not operating in other states, you’re kidding yourself.
Texas only has about 313,000 Muslims, and yet mosques and Sharia courts are popping up all over the state. Illinois has 474,000, California has well over 500,000, and New York has about 724,000. All of these states, and several more, have Islamic courts operating in them, which ignore the laws of the United States and their host states.
These courts are all presented to their host cities and states as cutesy “arbitration” panels and pretend that they’re going to resolve yard disputes between Muslim neighbors using their “folksy” religion. Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey (D) just managed to successfully win reelection by pitting warring clans of rival Somalis against one another.
Allowing Muslim immigrant communities to set up their own alternate court systems is proof that they have no intention of assimilating. They won’t follow our laws or adapt to our culture. They’re not coming here to integrate or to pursue the American dream. They’re coming here to conquer us.
Seven red states have banned Sharia law altogether (including Texas), although the courts have blocked Oklahoma’s law. This problem is embedded in far too many states. There should be federal action and mass deportations to deal with it, but Congress isn’t ready to admit that problem. At least we’ll still have Texas after the United States breaks apart in a few years!
