With the stroke of his pen, President Joe Biden seemingly offered up hundreds of billions of dollars in exchange for 40 million+ youth votes ahead of midterms – but after the election, the money disappeared – and the Democrats may have known this would happen all along.
Biden’s Student Loan Forgiveness Plan, was pushed through via an executive order, offering the fantasy of canceling out hundreds of billions of dollars worth of debt for the borrowers on the average American’s dime.
One of the issues, however, is that Biden simply did not the authority to advance this type of order without the backing of Congress, and that’s exactly what a judge determined.
U.S. District Judge Mark Pittman ruled that the plan was “an unconstitutional exercise of Congress’s legislative power and must be vacated.”
The White House has attempted to argue that the student loan forgiveness plan is legal under the Higher Education Relief Opportunities for Students (HEROES) Act, which grants the Department of Education the authority to cancel so much debt for so many people because of the COVID-19 pandemic, but that was always a shaky argument at best and the White House was fully aware of that.
Pittman ruled that HEROES Act did not authorize the $400 billion student loan forgiveness program.
“Whether the Program constitutes good public policy is not the role of this Court to determine. Still, no one can plausibly deny that it is either one of the largest delegations of legislative power to the executive branch, or one of the largest exercises of legislative power without congressional authority in the history of the United States,” Pittman wrote.
“In this country, we are not ruled by an all-powerful executive with a pen and a phone. Instead, we are ruled by a Constitution that provides for three distinct and independent branches of government…The Court is not blind to the current political division in our country.”
“But it is fundamental to the survival of our Republic that the separation of powers as outlined in our Constitution be preserved. And having interpreted the HEROES Act, the Court holds that it does not provide ‘clear congressional authorization for the Program proposed by the Secretary,” Pittman added.
From the beginning, the Democrats knew Biden’s order was illegal but they chose to move forward with it anyways.
In fact, even House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) had stated prior to the signing of the order that as President, Biden lacked the “power” to cancel large amounts of student loan debt.
The administration claimed that the plan was designed to help bring relief to Americans struggling under the weight of student loan debt, but the sad reality is it was more likely a temporary bribe designed to buy Democrats more votes during midterms – which would explain why they were never too worried about the long term legality of the plan to begin with.
Are we ever surprised by this group? Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer promise without a system to make it happen, they make speeches of how good they are and then nothing happens to support the content. In Capitalism you must look out for yourself financially, educationally, and security against the government, this is my message. I believe in limited government to the Public Goods.
So all those students, to include foreign students who applied for it and were approved need to have that 10k tacked back on their student loans so we the taxpayers are still not paying for it. Why is it that these ignorant people always believe that this money just disappears without any consequences from the democrats? Every time they offer money to foreign countries for any reason, illegal student loan forgiveness, handouts to illegals crossing the borders or all the foreign nationals they brought back from the failed pullout in Afghanistan, to include all the weapons left behind, we the people have to repay it in our taxes and thats why the democrats keep increasing our taxes. People need to wake the hell up and start seeing them for what they are…..corrupt individuals who steal elections because they can’t handle not controlling people’s lives!

Absolutely, via the public education system firmly in place. The socialists began infiltrating our higher education institutions in the late 50s and early 60s – they used illicit drugs to speed-up the process. Socialist beliefs are now taught at all levels of public education in this country. It’s all a part of their agenda. College grads of the last few years have been indoctrinated throughout their entire lives, pre-school through Masters degree.
There really is only 1 major obstacle remaining in their way of transforming this nation into a totally communistic wasteland: the 2nd Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. And they are chiseling away at that as fast as they can. Should they succeed, our Republic is doomed.
Sadly, the legal voters in this country have allowed all of this to happen over the last 50-60 years. I’d love to say there is a sure path back from all of this, but I can’t.

Only a doofus believed this could happen without criminal manipulation. Proffering big money to voters in view of a clear fact that it would not be legal is an old trick. Handlers of the CIC (Coprolite in Chief) use it to buy support with smoke and mirrors. And the CIC cleverly retreats to his mansion basement for his weekly naps. Targets of the “trick” don’t care and taxpayers are victims of the democrat flimflam.
I still think all the voting machines should be checked if they were or could be tampered with. One slick move with a computer can change or alter results favoring those who cheat. As forgiving student debt, you applied for it so you should repay it. There should be no free lunches here. When you work and accomplish results from y0ur work you are bettering yourself. Those who get things for no earned work do not appreciate it and demand more down the road. Welfare in this country should be limited.
