White House messaging this week has been pulling a full “Amber Heard” on the bedsheets when it comes to messaging. Good grief! What happened over there? The latest insult that is bringing Trump supporters to shed tears of rage is that the administration is “fixing” the H-1B visa program. They’re going to clean it up and make it more ethical. That’s not the problem, guys! The H-1B, J-1, and all the LMNOP-1 visa programs don’t just happen to experience occasional fraud as a side effect. The foreign work visas ARE the fraud!
Trump Labor Secretary Lori Chavez DeRemer announced this week that DOL is launching investigations into 175 companies for suspected H-1B visa fraud.
Whoop-te-doo!
The math doesn’t even work when you start to scratch the surface of this fraudulent program. There is supposed to be an annual cap on H-1B visas. They’re only supposed to allow 85,000 foreign workers into the country annually. The initial visa holder can stay in the country, squatting on an American job, for three years. They can then get their visa rubber-stamped to stay an extra three years, for a total of six years.
Yet in any given year, there are 700,000 H-1B visa workers in the US, according to the Department of Labor.
That math doesn’t add up!
The maximum number of H-1Bs in the country at any given time should only be 510,000. For there to be 700,000, that means the government is allowing in 116,000 every year. Or they’re allowing an extra 200,000 to overstay their visas.
The H-1B visa fraud was created by the creepy uncle of all of today’s globalists, President George H.W. Bush. The H-1B was set up in the Immigration Act of 1990. Its original intent—and this is what it still functions as—was a wage control mechanism on the American workforce.
It would make sense to bring in a foreign slave labor class if America had some sort of worker shortage. But our great country has never had a worker shortage!
In 1960, before the globalists kicked off the mass immigration party that is destroying our country, the share of “prime age” American men (age 25 to 54) who were not in the workforce was 4%. That’s pretty standard for any wealthy country. Jesus said the poor will always be with us.
But as mass immigration has continued to increase every year since 1964, more and more prime age American men are forced out of the labor force. Foreign work visas, combined with offshoring our manufacturing jobs, are what causes this.
In 2000, the share of prime age American working men who had checked out of the workforce was 8%. In 2024, the last year of Dirty Diaper Joe the Creepy Kid Sniffer’s time in office, it was 12%.
More than one in ten prime age American men don’t have jobs right now. That’s about 8 million men between the ages of 25 and 54, who can no longer find jobs in their home country.
The Trump White House is now complaining that Americans just don’t have the technical skills necessary to do the new jobs that are being created.
Okay. Then train them!
What this really means is that our fraudulent college education system isn’t equipping American students with the right skills. Here’s an idea: reform the education system so that it does!
The government can force our taxpayer-funded universities to offer degrees that companies are actually seeking. Has everyone forgotten this?
The federal government could walk into every college tomorrow and demand a slate of fast tech degrees, manufacturing certifications, or anything else if it wanted to.
“Guess what, Harvard? No more bachelor’s degrees on Painting Your Hair Blue and Putting Staples in Your Face to Protest the Patriarchy. You’re offering 6-month technical certifications for entry-level workers and we need 85,000 of them a year.”
Boom! No more foreign workers needed. Bringing in foreign workers is an excuse to pay Americans lower wages, and also to prevent our disastrous higher education system from having to reform.
Younger Americans are seeing nothing but doom in their future because of this mass immigration system. Generation Z turned out to help elect a Communist as the new mayor of New York City last week. The Trump administration should focus every effort on ways to make life better for them. And that starts with a full moratorium on all immigration, including these fraudulent visa programs.
