If you’ve been watching the news lately—and I mean *actually* watching it, not whatever fantasy island bs MSNBC is selling—then you’ve seen what’s happening in some of our so-called “blue sanctuary cities.” You know, the places where illegal aliens are treated better than working-class American citizens. You’ve likely seen the rioting, the property destruction, the surrounding of ICE facilities, the attacks on National Guard troops and immigration officials, etc.
Federal immigration agents have been moving swiftly across the country, conducting raids and beginning the long-overdue process of deporting illegal aliens. Immigration officials estimate we’ll remove about 600,000 illegals by the years end, with another 1.2 million illegals self-deporting. But in some of the usual suspect cities like Portland and Chicago, left-wing mobs are now actively interfering with ICE agents. We’re not talking about peaceful protests. We’re talking about people surrounding ICE facilities, blocking transport vans, and even physically confronting federal agents. If that’s not rebellion, I don’t know what is.
But heaven forbid the federal government try to restore law and order without the media clutching their pearls. NBC News wasted no time in spinning this as “fairly small and only sometimes violent crowds.” Ah yes, the same network that ran 24/7 coverage of January 6 is now downplaying actual organized resistance against federal law enforcement. Funny how that works.
So now the question on everyone’s mind is whether President Trump should invoke the Insurrection Act of 1807—a law that gives the Commander-in-Chief the authority to deploy the military within the U.S. to put down rebellions. And let’s be honest: that’s exactly what this is. What else do you call it when mobs try to block government operations and cities refuse to cooperate with federal law enforcement?
The President addressed this directly, saying, “If people were being killed, and courts were holding us up, or governors or mayors were holding us up, sure, I’d do that. I want to make sure people aren’t killed. We have to make sure our cities are safe.”
That’s not some wild-eyed dictator talk. That’s a man taking his duty to protect American citizens seriously. But the media and the Democrats—who’ve apparently never read the Constitution—are already screaming “martial law!” like it’s the end of the republic. Give me a break. These are the same people who were perfectly fine when federal troops were sent into D.C. during the BLM riots in 2020. Oh right, that was under Trump too, so naturally they were outraged then too. Consistency isn’t exactly their strong suit.

Let’s not forget, this isn’t the first time conservatives have called on Trump to use the Insurrection Act. After the 2020 election was rigged six ways from Sunday, many hoped he’d use it to address the widespread fraud. Instead, he trusted the courts. And we all saw how that turned out: four years of Bidenomics, open borders, and a war-hungry foreign policy that bled our country dry.
Now, in 2025, Trump is no longer playing defense. The left’s lawless tantrums are no longer being tolerated. Conservative voices like Vince Dao and Jacob Creech are rightly pointing out that these aren’t grassroots protests—they’re sponsored, coordinated efforts by Democrat-run cities to defy federal law. Creech even noted that the media and the Democrats, “the enemy of all humanity,” will scream all they want, but their noise won’t matter once Trump drops the hammer.
What’s happening in Portland are not spontaneous riots.
The Portland government is actively sponsoring violence against the federal government and American citizens.
The evidence is clear.
Invoke the Insurrection Act and bring sedition charges.

If President Trump invokes the Insurrection Act, it won’t be a sign of tyranny—it’ll be a sign that America is finally standing up for itself again. The left had their four years of chaos. Now it’s time for law, order, and a little thing called the Constitution. Let the adults back in charge do their job. And if that means calling in the military to stop an actual insurrection, so be it.
Because this time, it’s not about saving Trump’s presidency—it’s about saving the country.
