We’re now into the “terrible hot takes” stage of the horrific shooting that took place in Uvalde, Texas this week. A question that most of the commentators and Twitter blue checks don’t seem interested in trying to answer is, “Why did the shooter do this?” If we could study that and come up with some answers, we might be able to prevent future shootings. But since the leaders in this country aren’t big on nuance, a lot of them are blaming you and your guns. Better take those away to keep the kids safe! It’s all incredibly, predictable dumb by this point.
Here are some facts that most people on the left and even some on the live-and-let-live right don’t want to hear. The shooter was transgender. He liked to dress up in women’s clothing and post photographs of himself “in drag” online.
Is that the full reason why he shot up a school full of children? No, probably not the full reason. But because we now live in pagan society where mentally ill people are worshiped as sacred and holy, we should recognize that this fact probably did play some role the shooting. Nobody likes to talk about this. In fact, you might get fired from your job if you mention that a large percentage of transgender men commit psychopathic levels of violence against unsuspecting innocent people on a frequent basis.
And transgender men are the number one demographic that commits horrible sexual violence in this country. That’s a fact. No one’s feelings on “trans rights” can change that fact. It’s true.
It’s a very sad fact that instead of finding ways to treat these people for what everyone agreed was an obvious and catastrophic mental illness 20 years, these people are now deified in our society. If they try to get help, teachers, mental health professionals, doctors and in some cases even parents encourage them to do things that make the problem worse.
“You feel confused about your gender? Here! Take some hormone blockers. And let’s mutilate your genitals while we’re at it, so you can feel like you’re in the right body!”
The fact that the Texas shooter was transgender is likely to cause the story to fade from the front page a lot quicker. No one wants to talk about the elephant in the room, so let’s move on.
Another very likely reason as to why the shooter did what he did is that he was a pot smoker. The New York Times reports that the shooter hated his mother and grandmother because they “did not let him smoke weed.” His grandmother was the first person he shot before he drove to the school.
The marijuana that exists today is nothing like the pot that baby boomers smoked at Woodstock in the 1960s, or like Generation X smoked in the 1980s and ‘90s. It’s a hardcore, genetically modified drug that is far more powerful. You can pass out from smoking it. That was something that never happened with pot from the ‘60s through the ‘90s.
After states started legalizing pot for recreational use, violence levels shot up dramatically in those areas. Marijuana causes an unknown percentage of users to have psychotic breaks. That’s true.
In Hollywood a few years ago, a man who was a heavy pot smoker convinced his girlfriend to get high with him. She had never tried marijuana before. When the police arrived at their apartment days later because of complaints about the smell, the toilet and the garbage disposal were clogged with parts of the boyfriend. And the dog. After her first hit of marijuana, she told the police that she just wanted to make the demons be quiet.
A lot of mass murderers in our country in recent years have been pot smokers. The BLM activist who drove his SUV through the Christmas Parade in Waukesha, Wisconsin a few months ago was a heavy pot smoker. So was Nikolas Cruz, the shooter at Stoneman Douglas High School in Florida a few years ago. So was Devin Patrick Kelly, who killed 26 people in a Texas church shooting. So are a lot of other violent young men who carry out these horrific acts.
We don’t know whether the Texas shooter from this week was also on Adderall, Ritalin, or some other anti-psychotic pills, but don’t be surprised when that news comes out soon. And don’t be surprised if the people in charge don’t want to talk about that either.
The only people that would need an assult rifle are soldiers–why are they sold in gun stores? Also why would an assult rifle be sold to an 18 year old person?
The AR-15 is actually a varmint gun. it has a fast bullet and actually not a lot of stopping power. I would hate to go in battle with an AR-15. It is a decent hunting rifle but you are not going to bring down big game with one (just piss him off) I have an AR and they make a good self defense weapon because you can shoot one rapidly but I’ll take a good old sawed off shotgun over it any day of the week. Guns never kills anyone it is always someone pulling the trigger it is a tool just like a hammer & I promise you give me a hammer and I can kill you with it very easily. There is no such thing as an assault rifle until you use it during an assault. An assault weapon is anything you use to commit the assault a rock is an assault weapon if I hit you with it!

These weapons are demonized and valued because they are the weapons used in military video games like “Call of Duty”. there are far more deadly weapons like the M1A1 that fired a .308 round with a longer range and greater stopping power. It’s not “guns” or the NRA responsible for this carnage, it’s the complete dissolution of family values. The NRA teaches gun safety and when I was in high school they held weapon safety classes where you could bring your dad’s hunting rifle to school – if you can believe it. Then those were different times when families ate dinner together and talked about what they did that day around the dinner table. Now its the internet, iPhones and the Playstation 5 that its raising your children and it isn’t petty. To keep things in perspective, fentanyl kills far more people than rifles or even handguns too, and drug about is another symptom of a failed family
An AR15 is NOT an “Assault weapon”, it is a 22 caliber semi-automatic rifle. An 18 year old male can enlist in our Armed Forces and do so to protect our Country, and MANY have died defending our way of life.

AR-15 looks ‘scary’ but is certainly not an assault rifle. It’s a 22 ,which is as another commenter said, a varmint gun,dressed up .
Any firearm is an assault weapon, any Vehicle can be an assault weapon. An assault is an intentional attempt to physically injure another, or a menacing or threatening act or statement that causes the other person to believe they are about to be attacked. Don’t be tricked by NEWSPEAK.

I grew up in a house full of guns. Not once did I even think about killing a person, or even pointing any gun at anyone. I believe that there should be more family oriented time in each person’s life. Much of the homes without fathers started when the welfare and food stamp started and women were told you had to divorce to be eligible for help. While that is no longer the case, the damage has already been done.

Assault rifles have the capability of selective fire,….. from semi automatic to full automatic or 3 round bursts each time the trigger is pulled. Civilian AR 15s are not Assault rifles . They are tactical somewhat, can mount lights and optics.

I hold to the belief there are two groups of people who should not be allowed access to guns. Guns do not pull their own trigger. Most school killings have been done by people under the age of 21. If you have any conviction of using Pot, heroin, fentanyl, cocaine, meth, or any mind-altering drugs you are an unstable individual and should not have access to weapons. The second group is drug dealers and gangs whose weapons are generally illegal there should be laws in place that if you are found having an illegal non-registered gun and have no permit to have a weapon you face a mandatory Five-year jail sentence.it
