A Democrat Senator just gave us one of the most blatant reminders that the Democrats are part of an elite ruling class who believe in: rules for thee, but not for me.
Sen. Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) allegedly called in a favor back in 2023 to have her husband removed from the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) watchlist after he was flagged as a potential TERORRIST.
The husband, Willaim Shaheen, is a Lebanese-American attorney who is very active in the Arab-American community.
TSA placed him on their “quiet skies” surveillance list in October 2023 after his travel profile was flagged because he was traveling with a man who the FBI referred to as a “known or suspected terrorist.”
For any regular person this would have been a complete nightmare, but for the husband of a high-powered Democrat – it was no big deal!
A spokesperson for Senator Shaheen told CBS News that she reached out to TSA after her husband endured “several extensive, invasive and degrading searches at airport checkpoints.”
Sen. Shaheen contacted then-TSA Administrator David Pekoske via cellphone and almost instantly, her husband was removed from the list.
Worse still, her husband was placed on a different list – the “secure flight exclusion list” – which prevents him from having to endure any future advanced screening including random TSA checks.
Evidently Democrats and their loved ones can fly around with suspected terrorists and get off scot-free like nothing ever happened!
This terrorist surveillance program is supposed to operate without any political affiliation or involvement whatsoever… but nothing ever works out that way.
The very same TSA program which gave the Democrats’ husband a free pass, was used AGAINST President Donald Trump’s Direction of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard after she spoke out against her own party and went against the party’s narrative. They labeled her a “Russian spy” and made it nearly impossible for her to travel to and from her homeland of Hawaii.
For Gabbard there were no magic phone calls to set her free, and why?
Because she had decided to abandon the party which she saw had been consumed by radicals???
But sadly, Gabbard wasn’t alone.
This watchlist was also used against NUMEROUS January 6 protesters as our beloved government sought to brand these harmless marchers as “domestic terrorists.”
For everyday Americans, this kind of favoritism should be chilling. If a regular citizen had been flagged by TSA for traveling alongside a suspected terrorist, they’d be subjected to humiliating searches, endless delays, and possibly lifelong scrutiny — with zero chance of “making a call” to make it all go away. But when you’re connected to a powerful Democrat senator, the rules magically disappear.
This isn’t just hypocrisy — it’s a two-tiered justice system where elites get special privileges while law-abiding Americans are treated like criminals. If they can do this with a simple phone call, what else are they getting away with behind closed doors?
