Democrats have painted themselves into an unprecedented corner. They have no policies to pitch to the American voters in 2026. So, they’ve decided that they will fabricate a fictitious, deeply abiding friendship between Donald Trump and deceased child trafficker Jeffrey Epstein. They’re going all-in on this plan. They’re even willing to throw the elder scions of their own party under the bus to achieve this false narrative. As this article is being written, the House Oversight Committee is debating a contempt of Congress vote against Bill and Hillary Clinton.
Bill Clinton was subpoenaed to testify before the committee last Tuesday, and Hillary’s deposition was scheduled for Wednesday. They were to be questioned about their longstanding friendship with Jeffrey Epstein. They thumbed their noses at the rule of law and refused to show up.
The Clintons claim that they already told the committee “everything they know” about their relationship with Epstein, and therefore, further testimony would be moot. They also questioned the legitimacy of the lawful subpoenas.
House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) quickly commenced with contempt of Congress proceedings.
“Facing contempt of Congress, the Clintons’ lawyers made an untenable offer: that I travel to New York for a conversation with President Clinton only,” says Comer. “No official transcript would be recorded and other Members of Congress would be barred from participating. I have rejected the Clintons’ ridiculous offer.”
“The Clintons’ latest demands make clear they believe their last name entitles them to special treatment.”
The irony is that not very long ago, the Clintons’ last name would have entitled them to special treatment.
But not anymore!
In this country, we now arrest former presidents. That’s according to the new standard set by Bill and Hillary Clinton’s own political party. We not only arrest former presidents and publish their mug shots but also send FBI agents to rifle through their wife’s underwear drawer. Bill and Hillary must not have received the memo before they tried to pull this stunt with Congress.
As for the claim that the Clintons already testified about Jeffrey Epstein, there is now new information. In the latest tranche of Epstein files released by the Justice Department, there are new photographs of Bill Clinton. He can be seen as clear as day, cavorting in a hot tub with a redacted Epstein trafficking victim in a bikini.
Congress has legitimate new questions about this.
This is also a chance for the Justice Department to redeem itself, if only just a little bit. The DOJ has a track record of jailing Republicans for defying congressional subpoenas, while letting Democrats off the hook.
When Barack Obama’s former Attorney General Eric Holder was held in contempt of Congress over the Fast and Furious scandal, the DOJ refused to prosecute him. Granted, Holder was the boss at the DOJ at the time.
Former Trump advisor Steve Bannon was charged, prosecuted, and sent to prison for four months. He refused a subpoena from the illegitimate Liz Cheney January 6 Committee. Former Trump advisor Peter Navarro also spent four months in prison for the same thing.
Roger Stone was aggressively arrested at gunpoint in front of CNN cameras for allegedly obstructing a congressional investigation into the fake Russia collusion hoax. Stone was sentenced to 40 months in prison but received a pardon from President Trump in 2020.
Republicans get arrested and frog-marched in front of the news cameras when they ignore subpoenas that aren’t even legitimate. The Liz Cheney January 6 Committee was formed by Nancy Pelosi in violation of House rules.
The Clintons have just ignored lawful subpoenas from a longstanding, legitimately formed congressional committee. They’re obstructing a congressional probe that their own political party is investigating. Bill and Hillary Clinton are no longer politically useful to the Democrat Party, so they’re in a pickle.
We have no doubt that the committee will vote in favor of the contempt resolution against the Clintons. Once it passes, a criminal referral will be sent to Attorney General Pam Bondi’s desk. That’s when we will learn whether we still have a two-tiered system of justice in place in our country.
Will Bill and Hillary Clinton receive the same treatment as Donald Trump, Steve Bannon, Peter Navarro, and Roger Stone?
This is Pam Bondi’s big moment of truth!
