Once again, the Democratic Party has been caught trying to sweep a bit of history under the rug. It seems like they’ve decided that Bill Clinton, their beloved 42nd President, is no longer fit for public display. Their official social media accounts recently shared posts celebrating Presidents’ Day and Valentine’s Day, featuring Democratic presidents from Franklin Roosevelt onward. But lo and behold, Bill Clinton was mysteriously missing. Now, why would the Democrats omit their southern charmer from the list of past presidents? Could it be the 800-pound gorilla in the room called Jeffrey Epstein?

Now, folks, we all know that Clinton had more than a passing acquaintance with Epstein. He took flights on Epstein’s infamous jet, affectionately known as the “Lolita Express,” but his spokesperson insists he never set foot on Epstein’s private island or various luxury homes. Well, isn’t that a relief? The Department of Justice’s release of the Epstein files has sparked renewed scrutiny, but Clinton’s team is sticking to their story like maple syrup on a pancake: he’s got “nothing to hide” and knew “nothing about Epstein’s crimes.”

Sure, Clinton agreed to testify before the House Oversight Committee about his ties to Epstein, but not before rejecting several subpoenas. They claimed these demands were just politically motivated shenanigans. The committee’s chairman, Republican Kentucky Rep. James Comer, wasn’t so thrilled with Clinton’s offer of a cozy four-hour chat, calling it frustrating for the public who deserve some transparency. But hey, who needs transparency when you’ve got charm, right?

Let’s not forget the little birthday letter Clinton reportedly sent Epstein back in 2003. Epstein’s former partner, Ghislaine Maxwell, apparently thought it was sweet enough to include in a birthday album. Meanwhile, Trump was accused of sending a cheeky little birthday sketch of a naked woman, but he flat-out denied it and even sued the Wall Street Journal for their trouble. But remember, the media loves to paint Trump as the villain while giving Clinton a free pass. Classic double standards, folks.

The DOJ’s release of photographs showing Clinton shirtless and hobnobbing with Epstein doesn’t exactly help his case. But according to his spokesperson, Clinton cut off all ties with Epstein before 2006. “When it became clear Epstein had no genuine interest in lifesaving philanthropic work, there was no reason for further contact,” they said. Because, clearly, Epstein’s philanthropy was the only reason to hang out with him, right?

Meanwhile, these files don’t just point fingers at Clinton. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, who vowed he’d never share a room with Epstein again after one too many close encounters, was found to have kept in contact with him in 2011 and 2012. The files also revealed emails between Epstein and former White House strategist Steve Bannon. It’s a tangled web, folks, and the Democrats are trying to keep it all under wraps.
In the end, the Democrats’ choice to ghost Bill Clinton from their social media posts is a telling sign. It’s a desperate attempt to distance themselves from a legacy that’s become as sticky as a honey trap. But let’s not kid ourselves; the only transparency here is their blatant hypocrisy. While they sweep past scandals under the rug, they continue to point fingers at the other side. With the midterms just around the corner, it’s high time for some real accountability. The question is, will the Democrats ever take a long, hard look in the mirror? Or will they keep hiding behind their smoke and mirrors act? Time will tell, but one thing’s for sure: the American people deserve better.
