Some people thought overturning Roe v. Wade would be the end of abortion in America. It was a massive win, no doubt. But the heartbreaking truth is this: abortions haven’t just continued—they’ve gone up. Yes, up.
In 2025, the United States is on track to commit nearly 1.19 million abortions. That’s up from 1.14 million in 2024, which was up from 1.06 million in 2023. That’s three straight years of rising death tolls for the unborn, even after Roe was kicked to the curb. It’s like chopping the head off a snake, only to find it growing back—this time with Wi-Fi.
There were at least 98,800 abortions per month in the first six months of this year, according to new data from the Society of Family Planning.

So what’s driving the surge? Abortion pills. Easy to get, cheap to buy, and delivered in the mail like a pair of socks from Amazon. Thanks to the magic of telehealth, you can now schedule a virtual appointment, get abortion pills in the mail, and end a life without ever leaving your home or facing a protester. This isn’t just a tragic workaround—it’s a booming business.
The share of abortions provided by means of telehealth is rapidly increasing after Dobbs.

Here’s the kicker: these pills are protected by “shield laws” in blue states like California and New York. Those laws give legal cover to abortion providers who send pills into pro-life states like Texas or Oklahoma. In the first half of 2025, nearly 15,000 abortions per month were done under these shield laws. Over half of those happened in conservative states. That means about 50,000 babies lost their lives in red states this year—all thanks to pills shipped from liberal strongholds.
So while brick-and-mortar clinics might be shutting down in some places, the killing continues. Quietly. Remotely. Legally.
Because our laws in Texas do not make murdering anyone illegal for everyone, preborn babies in our state can be legally murdered by their mothers who self-induce their own abortions. https://t.co/MCPrn8u8mY

And let’s be honest—these loopholes didn’t appear by accident. Many conservative states, in their rush to show compassion to women, passed abortion laws that don’t criminalize the woman herself, only the provider. That might sound noble, but in practice, it’s a free pass for self-induced abortions. No consequences. No deterrence. No justice.
And what do we get in return? A rising body count.
The sad truth is that some women are not victims in this process. They are participants. Some are even proud of it. Don’t take my word for it—just look at how celebrities and activists celebrate abortion like it’s a rite of passage. This isn’t about health care—it’s about convenience, ideology, and power.
We can’t fix this by pretending the problem is over just because Roe is gone. That was the beginning of the real battle, not the end. And it’s time we start acting like it. That means closing the loopholes. That means passing equal protection laws that recognize unborn life as life—and abortion as murder. That means holding everyone involved accountable, no matter what state they live in or how they get the pills.
Because here’s the bottom line: a nation that allows over a million abortions a year is not a moral leader. It’s a nation in crisis. And if we think God will bless a country that sacrifices its children on the altar of convenience, we are fooling ourselves.
We’ve been given a second chance after Roe. But if we don’t follow through—if we don’t finish this fight—we’ll answer not just to history, but to heaven. The question now is: do we have the courage to protect the most innocent among us, or will we keep pretending that a silent genocide is just another political issue?
Choose wisely. Because the blood of 1.19 million babies cries out for justice.
