Bill’s Past Continues to Hurt Hillary

Word that Bill Clinton fathered an illegitimate son while governor of Arkansas has resurfaced a month before the general election. Is this the bombshell that will bring Hillary down and strengthen Donald Trump’s chances of winning the election?

A Brief History of October Surprises

There is a long history of last minute revelations in U.S. presidential races dating well back into the early 1800s.

Nixon aide, William Casey is credited with coining the term “October Surprise” following the 1968 race between Nixon and Vice President Hubert Humphrey.

At that time there was good cause for suspicion because shortly before the election, President Johnson announced a halt to bombing in Vietnam and the start of new peace talks. In the polls, Humphrey briefly pulled ahead of Richard Nixon but the last minute effort to resurrect Humphrey’s campaign fell far short.

Four years after LBJ’s October Surprise, Henry Kissinger attended a much-publicized press conference on October 26th where it was promised peace talk were about to resume. The problem with that was, both South and North Vietnam had pulled out of talks weeks before that. In spite of knowing this, Kissinger went ahead and announced, “peace is at hand.”

A nation, weary of war, responded by giving Richard Nixon a resounding 60 percent of the popular vote. Peace negotiations, however, fell apart in December 1972, and the Vietnam War continued for another two-and-a-half years.

The Danney Williams-Clinton Story

Though news of Bill Clinton possible having an illegitimate son is not new, it has been brought back into the light by the UK’s Daily Mail, along with a number of other news sources.

Danney Williams, the son of a former prostitute, has renewed his claims that he’s the love-child of then State governor of Arkansas, and wants Clinton to take a paternity test. Williams, 30, who now goes by the name Danney Williams-Clinton, says his mother Bobbie Ann Williams began a relationship with then-governor Clinton in 1984 after he paid her $200 to have sex with her behind some bushes in a Little Rock housing project.

Williams claims that the relationship continued and a year later his mother was pregnant. When he was born his mother believed he was Clinton’s son as he had a light skin tone, with Clinton being her only white client.

In spite of the vaunted truth finding site, Snopes, report that this is “old news”, it is no more old than the Washington Times illegally obtaining Donald Trump’s tax return from 1999. The difference in these “October Surprises” is that Hillary Clinton has the full force of the mainstream media to pump up the Trump’s story and ignore the Danney Williams-Clinton.

Rather than depend on news outlets, Williams has done an end-around by setting up his own Facebook page to tell his story. On the page, Williams renewed his call for a paternity test and posted pictures of himself alongside Clinton. He says there that he would just like to have some kind of relationship with Bill and Chelsea. Since he claims Hillary ordered his mother to effectively disappear, she is noticeably absent.

Williams’ mother was imprisoned shortly after his birth, leaving him to be raised by his aunt, Lucille Bolton. He says she took him to Hillary Clinton but she slammed the door in their face and cut him off from his alleged father.

The story surfaced again in 1992 but faded away when Star Magazine commissioned a paternity test in 1999 that failed to prove Clinton was his father. Allegedly, the test used a sample of Clinton’s DNA taken from Monica Lewinsky’s dress, along with samples from Williams and his mother.

Williams questions how Star could have accessed DNA samples possessed by the Department of Justice. But Slate has no issue with accepting the Star paternity test though it has repeatedly called that same publication unreliable and not to be trusted.

Running with the Star story, Slate reported, “President Clinton is only 20 to 30 times more likely than a random Caucasian male to be Danny Williams’ father,” according to Slate, “The legal threshold is 100.”

Does it Really Matter

The sad truth is that a young man like Danny Williams will probably never find resolution. The Clinton’s have proven time and again that they are made of Teflon. And if a problem sticks, their accusers have a habit of being disappeared.
