Every election season, certain states are considered a lock for one side or the other. Blue states vote for Democrat candidates. Red states vote for Republican candidates. And for decades, that script hasn’t changed much.
But now, one of the biggest political power players in the world is launching an aggressive new campaign in a deeply conservative, reliably red stronghold. Behind it is a massive influx of money, a cross-state tour, and a plan to shake the political foundations of a region that’s voted Republican for generations.
A new political initiative is kicking off this summer, complete with rallies, recruitment drives, and big promises for change. Organizers say they’re aiming to “mobilize thousands” and reshape the state’s future ahead of the next two election cycles.
At the center of it all? A billionaire who’s no stranger to controversy—and no stranger to influencing elections around the world.
Documents and financial records show that George Soros—the globalist mega-donor infamous for using his vast fortune to influence prosecutors, elections, and policy—is pumping millions of dollars into a campaign to transform one of the most historically Republican states in America.
His political machine, fronted by a PAC called Texas Majority, is launching a major push to shift the political tide. It’s part of a larger strategy dubbed “Blue Texas,” and it involves collaboration with state and county-level Democrat organizations, a summer tour across 24 cities, and an aggressive volunteer recruitment drive ahead of the 2026 midterms.
According to The Wall Street Journal, Soros has already shelled out over $3 million to fund this effort just this year—$2.1 million in general support, and another $1 million added in April. And it’s only June.
They’re not just aiming for one election. They’re building infrastructure. They want long-term control.
Texas hasn’t elected a Democrat statewide since 1994. Every presidential election since 1980 has gone red. The last Democrat U.S. Senator from Texas was elected in the late ‘80s. That hasn’t stopped Soros from trying.
With internal tensions within the Texas GOP—like the brewing primary battle between Sen. John Cornyn and conservative AG Ken Paxton—Democrats smell vulnerability. And Soros is here with his billions to exploit it.
His son, Alex Soros, is also taking on a more public role, hosting fundraisers and stepping up his involvement in U.S. politics. The father-and-son duo seems committed to turning traditionally red states into Democrat-controlled battlegrounds—no matter how much it costs.
This is more than a local political play. It’s a warning shot to every Republican voter: No state is safe when Soros is writing the checks.
