Media Twisting Truth About Charlie Kirk’s Murder

It didn’t take long. Before the crime scene tape was even cold, the media and their celebrity echo chamber were already hard at work twisting the truth about Charlie Kirk’s murder. And as usual, the narrative they’re pushing has more holes in it than a slice of Swiss cheese.

Charlie Kirk — founder of Turning Point USA, unapologetic conservative, and fearless champion of free speech — was assassinated. That should’ve been the focus. A political activist was murdered in cold blood. But instead of searching for justice, the media went on a mission to rewrite the story, spinning a fairy tale about the killer, Tyler Robinson, being some kind of “disillusioned conservative.” Spoiler alert: he wasn’t.

Despite what the headlines scream, Robinson wasn’t a Republican. He wasn’t a MAGA guy. He wasn’t even some “disaffected right-winger” as the press keeps hinting. The man was steeped in far-left ideology, had a history of anti-Christian and anti-capitalist rhetoric, and was mentally unraveling. But none of that fits the media’s favorite bedtime story — that Republicans are violent and the left is a peace-loving drum circle.

Instead, the usual suspects in the media and on social media tried to turn Kirk into the villain, even in death. Enter Benjamin Watson and Emmanuel Acho — two former NFL players who clearly spent more time in the locker room than in the library.

Watson, in a Facebook post that reads like a sanctimonious sermon from the Church of Woke, said Charlie’s “verbal attacks on black men, women, and their achievement” were “reprehensible” and “a form of violence.” That’s not just wrong — it’s a flat-out lie. And calling someone’s words “violence” while brushing over the fact that the man was *literally* murdered? That takes a special kind of moral confusion.

T.J. Moe, a contributor at BlazeTV, put it plainly: “He lied about every word of what he just said about Charlie Kirk.” Moe even reminded Watson of Proverbs 6 — which condemns a lying tongue. But clearly, Watson was too busy virtue signaling to crack open his Bible.

But Watson wasn’t the only one auditioning for MSNBC. Emmanuel Acho joined the smear campaign by playing out-of-context clips of Charlie, suggesting he said racist things — even accusing him of using a slur when he was literally just saying the name “Cenk” (as in Cenk Uygur, from The Young Turks). Yeah, that’s right. Acho heard “Cenk” and decided Charlie was throwing out racial slurs. That’s the kind of lazy, dishonest reporting we’ve come to expect from the activist media, not a former NFL linebacker.

Jason Whitlock, never one to mince words, called out this nonsense for what it is: “Engage with the actual argument,” he said. But that’s the last thing the left wants. They don’t want debate. They want control. And they’re more than willing to lie about a man who can no longer defend himself to get it.

If you haven’t seen it yet, watch this video that breaks it all down. It’s a masterclass in exposing media lies and standing up for truth when it’s most inconvenient.

Let’s be crystal clear: Charlie Kirk was a bold, controversial conservative voice — and that’s exactly why the left wants to memory-hole the facts of his murder and rewrite his legacy. They want to turn his death into a parable about “right-wing hate,” while ignoring the real hate that killed him: the kind that festers in the radical corners of the left, fueled by years of media demonization of conservatives.

Make no mistake, this isn’t just about Charlie. It’s about what kind of country we want to live in. Do we want a country where political violence is excused — or worse, justified — depending on the victim’s beliefs? Do we want a media that twists tragedy into propaganda?

If we let them lie about Charlie Kirk in death, they’ll lie about all of us in life. And the next time, it could be your values, your voice, or your family on the chopping block.
