Marco Rubio Bans Foreigners Who Celebrated Assassination

It was a gut punch to the heart of America’s conservative movement. On September 10, 2025, Charlie Kirk—just 31 years old—was assassinated while doing what he did best: speaking truth to woke power. The founder of Turning Point USA, Charlie was a fearless defender of free speech, traditional values, and the America-first movement. He was gunned down while addressing students at Utah Valley University, his final words lost in the chaos of a sniper’s bullet from a rooftop.

Let that sink in. A young patriot, targeted and killed for his beliefs on American soil.

And while patriots mourned, some sick corners of the internet lit up in celebration. Not just from the usual basement-dwelling trolls either—foreign nationals, from places like Slovenia and beyond, took to social media to laugh, cheer, and praise the assassination of a conservative leader. That’s not just disgusting. That’s dangerous. And finally, somebody in Washington had the spine to do something about it.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio, not exactly known for ruffling feathers, stepped up big. In a bold move that sent shockwaves around the globe, Rubio announced that any foreign national who celebrated or glorified Charlie Kirk’s murder online will be banned from entering the United States. Period. No tourist visas. No green cards. No excuses.

Deputy Secretary of State Chris Landau confirmed it in a post on X, saying: “Foreigners who glorify violence and hatred are not welcome visitors to our country.” Amen to that.

This isn’t about censorship. It’s about protecting our homeland and drawing a clear red line. If you’re the kind of person who cheers when a young man is executed for his political views, you don’t deserve the privilege of stepping foot in this country. You’re not coming to see the Statue of Liberty when you’re laughing at everything she stands for.

Rubio’s move syncs perfectly with President Trump’s America-first doctrine. Under his leadership, we’ve seen a renewed focus on law and order, border security, and standing up to the politically correct mob that thinks free speech only applies to their side. Trump called Kirk a “giant of his generation” and announced he will be posthumously awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom. The president also ordered flags flown at half-staff nationwide—a tribute not just to Charlie, but to the values he lived and died defending.

Meanwhile, the FBI and Utah authorities are deep into their investigation. They’ve recovered a high-powered rifle and other clues in a nearby forest. The suspected shooter is described as college-aged. Let’s hope justice comes quickly—and that it comes hard.

But let’s not overlook what’s really happening here. The same crowd that once called for “unity” under Biden didn’t hesitate to mock a young conservative’s death. These are the same people who tried to justify attacks on Trump in 2024, who shrugged when a sitting governor like Josh Shapiro was targeted, and who still pretend political violence is only a “right-wing” problem. They’ll scream about “censorship” now, but they were silent when the target was one of ours.

Rubio’s policy is a line in the sand. It says: if you glorify violence against Americans, you are no friend of ours. It’s about time someone said it out loud.

Charlie Kirk’s legacy won’t be erased by a bullet or by online ghouls celebrating his death. His ideas live on, and so does the movement he helped build. What Rubio did was more than a policy change—it was a message to the world. Political violence will not be rewarded. It will be punished.

And to the radical leftists watching from abroad and cheering from behind their keyboards? Stay home. America doesn’t need your hate.
