Have you heard? Congress has more women serving right now than ever before! Apparently, that’s because America is more bigoted than ever before! No, we don’t understand liberal “logic” either.
In the midst of all these new Congresswomen are two who stand out in particular. Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib are active Muslims and now official Representatives in our legislature. That might not be so bad, but they’ve made their un-American agendas clear, and those agendas are downright frightening.
Between the two of them, there’s a lot to cover. So, today, we’re going to review the legacy and policy of Rep. Ilhan Omar. Brace yourselves. This won’t be pretty.
A Fight with Amazon
Maybe you have heard about the fight going on with Amazon in Minnesota. A group of East African protests have been going rounds with the internet retail giant. They say that the company is unsafe, demands too much productivity from workers and doesn’t allow religious freedom.
Let’s tackle these claims straight away. Amazon is subject to the same workplace safety regulations as any other company in the country. They consistently meet requirements.
As for religious freedom, Amazon provides paid prayer breaks for Muslim workers. It also supplies prayer mats (purchased at company expense) and works steadfastly to accommodate Muslim workers through Ramadan and other religious events.
You might notice that other religions aren’t mentioned here. That’s because Muslim workers at Amazon get more special treatment than groups of any other religious affiliation. That said, there are no legitimate claims of Amazon restricting religious practices of any kind.
In light of that, the East African group is demanding that Amazon facilities build private prayer rooms on the facility that can only be accessed by Muslims. That’s right. They are trying to force Amazon to carry out religious discrimination.
Even worse, they’re demanding that Amazon lower productivity demands for workers, but only if they are Muslim. Apparently, adhering to the Muslim faith makes a worker less useful to a company. That’s according to the East African protest group, at least.
Here’s why this fight matters. Ilhan Omar has joined with the protestors as a sitting member in the U.S. Congress. She is supporting demands for religious discrimination (in favor of Muslims) at Amazon. This is the least radical thing you will read about her today.
Support for Terrorism
You’ve probably heard it said that Omar is a terrorist sympathizer. A proper skeptic would wonder if this is just politics. Well, it isn’t. Omar has been a public figure for years and has gone on record. She firmly believes that the United States is responsible for al-Shabaab terrorist attacks. She has supported a Holocaust denial movement that originated in Iran, and she openly supports the Hamas government in Palestine.
Worse, she wrote a letter to a judge to ask for leniency in a case. What was the case? A group of Muslim men tried to join the Islamic State. Omar literally tried to get a reduced sentence for attempted terrorists. This is no exaggeration.
Capping her accomplishments in this realm, Omar has submitted to Congress a call to end the “systematic alienation” of violent Muslim men in America. According to her, their violence is solely due to American culture. No wonder she’s a Democrat.
Radical Policy
She’s already painted herself as a dangerous person, but her policy is the real threat. As a member of Congress, she has supported a 90-percent tax on the wealthy, single-payer health care, free college tuition for all, the abolishment of ICE, a state-level boycott of Israel and the financial support of Iran. These are all radical positions, and they hold a frightening commonality.
Every one of these policies is aimed at the destruction of America and the promotion of an Islamic state in its place. She knows that her economic policies will destroy our economy. Without it, who will stand against the violent rise of Islam across the globe?
Make no mistake. This is Omar’s true goal. She wants to see you murdered and replaced with an Islamic extremist. She prays for this, and until she can make it a reality, she will do everything in her now substantial power to undermine U.S. interests, institutionalize Islam and push our money into Muslim states. Her genuine goal is to end freedom and justice in America. After all, we are the great bastion of hope and principle. As such, we are an abomination in the eyes of Ilhan Omar.
