Adam Schiff Shifts into Panic Mode over Release of Docs that Prove He Lied about Having Direct Evidence of Trump’s Campaign Colluding with Russia

Even as Rep Adam Schiff lays the groundwork for yet another impeachment scam, the impeachment leader may have to stop and smell the stench. That unpleasant odor is wafting from the impending release of his previously classified interviews Congress conducted in Russiagate.

Reports are that the transcripts will show that of the 53 witnesses interviewed, not one—not a single person– testified that they knew of any evidence that President Trump or anyone on his campaign staff colluded with the Russians.

Wait a minute. Hasn’t Schiff been claiming that he had “direct evidence” of collusion between Russia and the Trump Campaign? He told CBS’s Face the Nation hosts that the Russians offered dirt on Hillary Clinton. The President’s son, Don Jr., took them up on the offer, and that was clear proof:

“They offer that dirt. There is an acceptance of that offer in writing from the president’s son, Don Jr., and there is overt acts and furtherance of that… That to me is direct evidence.”

As it turned out, if the Russians weren’t offering to sell dirt, they were interested in getting the Trump campaign to commit to overturning the Magnitsky Act, a bipartisan bill signed by President Obama that punished Russian officials for torturing and killing tax accountant Sergei Magnitsky. Don Jr and the other attendees refused.

Unwilling to admit defeat, Schiff hoped that something miraculous would emerge from the Mueller report. After all Mueller’s team was full of Democrat party supporting lawyers and former Hillary Clinton staff members. Schiff went so far as to announce, “We will also have to look at the whole body of improper and criminal actions by the president including those campaign finance crimes to determine whether they rise to the level of removal from office.”

While Mueller’s performance before Jerry Nadler’s committee was pathetic, the afternoon performance was so sad that the Republican side seemed to feel sorry for him and didn’t pile on.

Now House Republicans are seeking over 6,000 pages of committee transcripts of the Schiff committee 2017 and 2018 interviews. In fact, their panel voted on a bipartisan basis to approve their public release. This reportedly sent shifty Shift into panic mode.

Not so fast, he told his staff director. Let’s see if we can block the release and claim political influence in the redaction and declassification process. Could President Trump’s ally and supporter, Acting Director of National Intelligence Richard Grenell, have adulterated the process?

So, Schiff’s staff reached out in a desperate search for their own dirt to throw at the acting DNI. It turns out that the redaction and declassification process involved heads of intelligence community agencies and career intelligence officials. The kicker is that the process was completed before Grenell took over.

Moreover, Grenell wrote that he never released the transcripts to the White House.

In any case, the stonewalling by Schiff continues. As the committee spokesman disingenuously claims that the process “has already taken far too long, most notably because the ODNI improperly held up the declassification review” and because of White House requests.

So what are Schiff’s charlatan’s doing?

His spokesman pontificated, “We are now reviewing the proposed redactions from ODNI based on classification, law enforcement sensitivity or items ODNI requests be for official use only. Given the overtly political role now played by the acting DNI, including the leak of his letter, this committee and the public can have little confidence that his determinations are made on the merits.”

Yeah, right. The merits of the original investigation and Schiff’s whole charade boil down to a total lack of credibility of the snake-charming Adam Schiff.

Then there’s this: Schiff’s fake investigation and Mueller’s baseless probe never produced any charges or evidence linking President Trump’s campaign and Russia as part of any criminal conspiracy. If only the mainstream media would report that story with the veracity they reported on #Russiagate.
