It just wouldn’t feel like we’ve had Democrats in charge of the White House for four years if they didn’t do something insane to coddle and encourage terrorists, would it? Merrick Garland and his bosses in the Biden-Harris regime have cut a plea deal with 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and two of his accomplices in planning the attack.
We never thought we’d say this, but Team Biden-Harris has somehow managed to make Barack Obama’s time in office look better. (Then again, that’s setting the bar pretty low.)
Even though it’s been more than 20 years and the memory of 9/11 is starting to fade from younger Americans’ minds, it still remains the worst foreign attack on our soil in US history. More than 3,000 American civilians were killed during the attacks. Under the deal that the Biden-Harris government struck with him, the death penalty is now off the table for Mohammed and his accomplices.
It’s reminiscent of the time when Obama brought deserter and American traitor Bowe Bergdahl back to the country. Bergdahl was a US Army soldier stationed in Afghanistan in 2009. He sent an email to his parents telling them he was thinking of deserting. His dad, a flaming leftwing liberal, emailed him back and told him to go ahead.
Bergdahl deserted his post and joined the Taliban, thus committing treason against the United States. He shot propaganda videos for his Taliban videos and they used Bergdahl as a propaganda tool against the US government. Obama finally got Bergdahl “released” from “captivity” by trading five high-ranking Taliban terrorists from Guantanamo Bay for him.
It was disgusting. Obama released five terrorists for a traitor that the American people didn’t even want back. Bergdahl was court martialed and given a dishonorable discharge. He didn’t serve jail time and the Obama administration let five terrorists go in exchange for him.
As for Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, we’re lucky that the 9/11 attacks were so small. He originally went to Osama bin Laden with a much more grandiose plan of attack. Mohammed initially told bin Laden that he wanted to launch a series of ten attacks with commercial airliners across the US. Mohammed wanted to fly five planes into buildings on the East Coast and five on the West Coast. We know for a fact that one of his targets was the US Bank Tower—formerly known as Library Tower—in Los Angeles. It was the tallest building west of the Mississippi at the time.
Obama worked with Mohammed to scale the plan down and make it more manageable. They finally settled on the four planes that were crashed on 9/11.
“The prosecution and families have waited 23 years to have our day in court to put on the record what these animals did to our loved ones. They took that opportunity away from us,” said retired police officer Jim Smith.
Jim’s wife Moira was an NYPD officer who was killed that day.
“They committed the worst crime in the history of our country, they should receive the highest penalty.”
Not with a Democrat in the White House!
“I am angry and disappointed that enemy combatants who killed thousands of Americans in our homeland are now able to exploit the US judicial system to their benefit, receiving support from American taxpayers for shelter, food, and healthcare for the rest of their lives,” said Kathy Vigiano, a retired police officer whose husband was killed in the attacks.
We’re all disgusted by it. Who cuts a plea deal with a terrorist mastermind who confessed to planning an attack that killed 3,000 Americans?
This isn’t really open for debate. Mohammed was captured and confessed to being the mastermind of the attacks. He was basically Osama bin Laden’s righthand man. What the hell is wrong with Joe Biden’s prosecutors? Did they think there was a chance that they’d lose if the case went to trial?
Khalid Sheikh Mohammed has been in US military custody for about 20 years now. What do the American people get out of this, other than another embarrassing episode after Joe Biden and Kamala Harris surrendered Afghanistan to the Taliban? Why is Mohammed walking around still breathing anyway?
Joe Biden and Kamala Harris just gave Islamic terrorists one more reason to attack our soft and weak country. We can’t even mete out justice to terrorists who killed 3,000 of our fellow citizens.
