A radical leftist district attorney went out of his way to stop a Chinese-linked election software firm from being held accountable for its election rigging related crimes – why? Because he thought charging them would help Donald Trump.
Los Angeles DA George Gascon, a Soros-backed radical, tossed out criminal charges against Konnech CEO Eugene Yu this week.
Konnech is an election software company that is based out of Michigan but in late 2022 we learned that the company actually is in bed with the Chinese government.
The company had contracts with “thousands of election office across North America,” including in LA county, to provide software designed to manage election-worker payroll, assignments, and communications.
Naturally this gave Konnech some insider knowledge to the personal details of poll-workers, but it was what they did with this data that proved to be illegal.
Their contracts stated that they were supposed to securely maintain the data on servers in the U.S. and that only U.S. citizens and permanent residents would have access to it.
Eugene Yu and Konnech completely disregarded that, storing the private – and EXTREMELY SENSITIVE data – on servers located IN CHINA!
This meant that the Chinese had “super-administration” privileges and could see all the intimate data that Konnech was tasked with storing. One project manager warned that this was a “huge security issue” but the company didn’t seem to care much – suggesting they had an ulterior motive from the start.
Yu was arrested over on felony charges related to this, but JUST ONE MONTH LATER the charges were completely dismissed by Gascon – who claimed that the “pace of the investigation” and “potential bias” was concerning him… so he tossed the charges entirely.
The move drew immediate backlash and to try and save face, Gascon’s office said that he was “assembling a new team with significant cyber security experience to determine whether any criminal activity occurred.”
As you might expect, however, that didn’t actually happen – and ZERO new charges were brought on Yu or Konnech.
On top of that, L.A. county also later approved a $5 million payout to Yu to settle a civil lawsuit that he had filed against the government!
However, Eric Neff, the lead prosecutor on the case exposed that the REAL reason the far-left DA decided to dismiss the case was because he feared that holding Yu accountable might help Donald Trump.
Of course that’s the LAST THING leftists want to do, even if it means protecting a CCP-linked election rigging asset!
Neff filed a complaint with the L.A. County Board of Supervisors where he slammed the partisan DA.
The prosecutor explained that Yu and Konnech were very obviously in violation of their contract with the county to store “sensitive and confidential information regarding County election workers.”
He noted that the DA’s investigations, “recovered several explosive pieces of evidence” which all led to one simple conclusion: “Konnech was sending sensitive [Personal Identifying Information] data to Chinese-owned and operated third-party contractors through Chinese-owned and operated messaging applications.”
Neff went on to point out that at this point the DA could have – and SHOULD HAVE – charged Yu but he was more concerned that he might commit the deadly sin of proving Trump right about America’s elections!
To make matters worse, when Neff objected to the dismissal on the basis that it was ILLEGAL, he was punished by Gascon for speaking up.
Neff was put on administrative leave, pending an internal investigation, which apparently took a year-and-a-half to complete even though it found “there was no evidence that Mr. Neff committed any misconduct.”
The Soros-backed DA went out of his way to protect a Konnech’s reputation despite the fact that they very well could have been helping the Chinese government interfere in American elections – all to avoid revealing the fact that Trump was right about how fraudulent America’s elections are.
Trump needs to be released. All this they are doing to him is not helping the Democrats at all. We the people understand what they are doing but, it is backfiring on the Democrates. It makes the people mad and they will lose votes to the Republicans. Democrats have tried everything they can to prevent Trump from running for president but, nothing is working for them. The more they do against him just makes him more popular and them less.
