Obama Admin Strong Armed Ukraine NOT To Investigate ‘Mega-Donor’ George Soros

While the left scrambles to explain why Robert Mueller couldn’t offer any proof of collusion between President Trump and Russia, the real architect of collusion is becoming more obvious—former President Barack Obama.

While the 2016 presidential race raged in the US, Ukrainian prosecutors ran into trouble proving who was behind an insurrection in their country.

A non-profit in Ukraine known as the Anti-Corruption Action Centre (AntAC) was under the scrutiny of Ukraine prosecutors as a part of a larger probe. That investigation involved the claim $4.4 million of US funds designated to fight corruption in Ukraine had been illegally diverted.

Investigators in that country discovered resistance to their investigative efforts had its origins in the U.S. embassy in Kiev. They found that the Obama administration had taken the unusual tact of pressing the Ukrainian government to back off its investigation of both AntAC and the misdirected U.S. funds.

Yuri Lutsenko, seen as a hero in the West for serving two years in prison after fighting Russian aggression in his country, became the nation’s prosecutor during this time. He rose to this position after his predecessor had lost his job, mainly due to pressure from the Obama administration.

After Lutsenko was named his nation’s chief prosecutor he was invited to meet with Marie Yovanovitch, U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine. At that meeting, according to The Hill, “…he was stunned when the ambassador ‘gave me a list of people whom we should not prosecute.’” The list included a founder of the AntAC group along with two members of Parliament who supported the group’s anti-corruption reform agenda.

To tie all the pieces together, Ukrainian law enforcement was investigating a group (AntAC) that was co-funded by the Obama administration and George Soros. Prosecutors had also found that AntAC was collaborating with FBI agents in its investigation of the-Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort and his business activities with pro-Russian figures in Ukraine.

One Ukrainian official said when they investigated ties between AntAC, Soros, and the Obama administration, “We ran right into a buzz saw, and we got bloodied.”

Lutsenko believes the US embassy applied pressure on his investigation because it didn’t want Americans to discover who was being funded by their tax dollars. “At the time, Ms. Ambassador thought our interviews of the Ukrainian citizens, of the Ukrainian civil servants who were frequent visitors in the U.S. embassy, could cast a shadow on that anti-corruption policy,” he said.

State Department officials acknowledge the directive from the White House was unusual. One said, “We’re not normally in the business of telling a country’s police force who they can and can’t pursue unless it involves an American citizen we think is wrongly accused.”

A State Department official statement directly refuted Lutsenko’s claim the US presented him with a do-not-prosecute list. The US embassy also responded saying the claim was a fabrication and a sign that corruption is alive and well inside Ukraine.

However, a letter from embassy Charge d’ Affaires George Kent clearly shows the embassy pressured Ukrainian prosecutors to cease what should have been considered an internal law enforcement matter inside a sovereign country.

The Ukraine/AntAC story shines the light on an often missed connection between US-sponsored “anti-corruption” movements and one man — mega Democrat donor, George Soros.

Ties between the Hungarian-American businessman and American globalist like former President Obama are undeniable.

Several senior Department of Justice (DOJ) officials and FBI agents appeared in photos in Kiev as attendees or participants at Soros-sponsored conferences and events.

Kareb Greenaway was one attendee at the Soros-sponsored event in Ukraine. She received glowing praise from AntAC’s executive director after several events. Interestingly, she was one of the lead agents in the Manafort investigation in Ukraine.

Greenway recently retired from the FBI only to resurface as a member of the supervisory board of AntAC.

Several questions demand answers:

  • Do American voters want their government to be diverting U.S. tax dollars to fund foreign activist efforts to use “anti-corruption” campaigns to destabilize their governments?
  • What business does the U.S. embassy have to intervene in a Ukrainian internal investigation?
  • Why would our embassy do such a thing and then deny it?
  • What is the connection between Barack Obama, AntAC and other activist groups, and George Soros?

Soros has long been known as an all-out proponent of the complete annihilation of any residual independence of the European Union member states.

Now there’s proof former President Barack Obama colluded with Soros.
