Officials in California made a disturbing discovery when they accidentally unearthed a Chinese bio-lab which has been operating in California.
A local code enforcement officer noticed a garden hose poking out a back wall of the building, which led officials to dig deeper into what was going on at this facility.
Fresno County authorities ultimately discovered an “unlicensed laboratory” inside a warehouse in Reedley, California. The secret lab was owned by Prestige BioTech – a company registered in Las Vegas, Nevada. Prestige BioTech claimed it moved assets to the warehouse from the now-defunct Universal Meditech Inc.
Upon entering the secret lab, officials observed blood, tissue and other bodily fluid samples and serums along with THOUSANDS of vials of unlabeled fluids and suspected biological material.
They also found 900 genetically engineered mice – designed specifically to catch and carry COVID-19 – living in inhumane conditions.
773 of the mice had to be euthanized, and officials found another 178 mice already dead.
“This is an unusual situation. I’ve been in government for 25 years. I’ve never seen anything like this,” said Reedley City Manager Nicole Zieba.
Public health officials were also left in shock over what they found.
“I’ve never seen this in my 26-year career with the County of Fresno,” said Assistant Director of the Fresno County Department of Public Health Joe Prado.
Prado added, “So there was over 800 different chemicals on site in different bottles of different acids. Unfortunately, a lot of these are being categorized under unknown chemicals.”
He continued, “There were some laboratory mice on-site at this location. What we heard from the business owner was that they were doing some type of testing with those mice to see whether or not their COVID test kits were actually effective in detecting COVID. So, that was one example of what they shared with the purpose of the laboratory mice were being on-site.”
The CDC tested the substances and detected that at least 20 potentially infectious agents were among them – including Coronavirus, HIV, hepatitis and herpes, according to a Health and Human Services letter.
Agents also found thousands of package boxes – many with shipping labels FROM CHINA.
Chinese foreign national Xiuquin Yao was identified as the president of Prestige BioTech and all other associated individuals had addresses in China.
“The other addresses provided for identified authorized agents were either empty offices or addresses in China that could not be verified,” court documents said.
This is a CLEAR national security threat. What was China doing with a secret, unlicensed bio-lab operating on American soil? And what was their ultimate intention?
It’s ESSENTIAL that federal prosecutors don’t drop the ball on this ongoing investigation. We NEED answers!
