All we have heard about COVID-19 since the beginning is that the first case was in Wuhan, China in December and that it was the result of a city resident eating an infected animal that was purchased at one of Wuhan’s many “wet” markets. The liberal media and even organizations like the W.H.O. repeated this narrative over and over. They said anyone who said otherwise was a xenophobic, hoax believing, conspiracy theorist.
Well, as usual, the Trump-hating media appears to be completely wrong in the face of facts. As an interesting side note, the W.H.O. is denying the new evidence you’re about to see. As recently as yesterday they put out a tweet that said COVID-19 came from an exotic animal, not from a lab.
Senator Ted Cruz was the one to break this story on a podcast with the Daily Wire’s Michael Knowles. The National Institute of Health is investigating the Wuhan virology lab that has long been rumored to be the source of the COVID-19 outbreak.
Here’s what that NIH investigation revealed:
We now know for certain that the lab in question was studying strains of coronavirus that lived in bats. We also know that they were studying potential bat-to-human transmissions. We also know that there were no bats in the wet market that has been accused of being the source of the pandemic.
Keep in mind that this likely scenario does not suggest that the virus was engineered as a weapon by China. Instead, a lab with a notoriously bad safety track record let out one of the viruses they were studying.
Senator Cruz didn’t stop with this amount of information. You see, there’s a specific reason he was able to find out exactly what was being studied and where — despite the Chinese firewall. It turns out that the U.S. was directly funding the lab. We gave them a total of $3.7 million over the course of several years. That money was specifically earmarked for researching bat strains of coronavirus that could spread to humans.
Here’s the final dirty bomb. It was President Obama who set up the grant. Since this revelation, the Trump Administration has worked to kill that grant, but the damage has already been done.
Let’s revisit the W.H.O. for a moment. They have seen all of this information. It has been made public. The U.S. has receipts for bat coronavirus research. The particular strain that is upending the world right now come from only one region in China, and it’s not Wuhan. The lab in question was researching viruses in those bats. This case is closed. The evidence is overwhelming, and still the W.H.O. is running interference for China. It’s despicable.
If you’re determined not to blame the Chinese or the W.H.O. for the pandemic, then there’s one other source of blame. The world is in chaos because one man repeatedly worked to undermine U.S. interests in favor of China. Now, hundreds of thousands are dead, and many more will yet die. Thanks Obama.
