Spicy Catfight Erupts Over the Non-Release of the Jeffrey Epstein Files

Uh oh! Catfight in DC! Anna Paulina Luna, the lovely Republican congresswoman from Florida, is calling out Attorney General Pam Bondi who appears to be dragging her feet on the release of the Jeffrey Epstein files.

Ms. Bondi now joins a long list of US Attorney Generals who just… can’t… quite… get around to letting the public see Epstein’s client list. What is it with these people?

Former Attorney General Bill Barr, acting Attorney General Jeffrey Rosen (who replaced Barr), acting Attorney General John Demers, acting Attorney General Monty Wilkinson, former Attorney General Merrick Garland, acting Attorney General James McHenry, and now current Attorney General Pam Bondi have all failed to release the Jeffrey Epstein files.

Last week, AG Bondi was asked by Fox News, what’s the deal with the Jeffrey Epstein files?

“It’s sitting on my desk right now to review,” said Bondi in a vague non-answer. “That’s been a directive by President Trump. I’m reviewing that. I’m reviewing JFK files, MLK files. That’s all in the process of being reviewed because that was done at the directive of the President from all of these agencies.”

Notice that Bondi never actually states that she’s going to release the Epstein files to the public. They’re sitting on her desk for review. We shouldn’t be surprised if she announced soon that she spilled her coffee on the Epstein client list and now it’s ruined. Oopsie!

It’s been almost a week now since Bondi didn’t actually say she was going to release the files. Gen. Mike Flynn, President Trump’s former National Security Advisor who was framed during the Russia collusion hoax, called out Rep. Luna on Twitter this week. Ms. Luna has been chosen to chair the House Task Force on the Declassification of Federal Secrets.

The JFK and MLK files, UFO files, and other hordes of classified documents have been ordered declassified by President Trump, and this committee is supposed to be working on that.

The Epstein files and client list are supposed to be among the documents that are going to be released to the public. Which begs the question: Who classified Jeffrey Epstein’s client list in the first place? Can we know the name of that person?

Rep. Luna pointed out to Flynn that Congress doesn’t have any declassification power—that has to come through the Executive branch. They apologized and made nice with each other, but then Luna seemed to realize that something fishy is going on.

Why haven’t the Epstein files been given to her Task Force? What the hell is Pam Bondi doing?

The House sent requests to the Attorney General’s office on February 11 and February 19 and all they’ve gotten in response is the sound of crickets.

AG Bondi tweeted this week that she was finalizing the release of the JFK and Epstein files—but then she deleted the tweet!

We’ve made no secret of our mistrust toward Pam Bondi here. She was brought in to replace Matt Gaetz when he was railroaded out of the AG job by false allegations and smears. Out of all the people appointed to Trump’s cabinet, she is the one who has the most work to do to earn the trust of the MAGA/MAHA movement.

When Pam Bondi was Florida’s Attorney General, she wrecked George Zimmerman’s life. When Zimmerman killed a trespassing neighborhood hoodlum named Trayvon Martin in the most justifiable case of self-defense in history, Pam Bondi tried to prosecute Zimmerman to earn brownie points from Barack Obama and BLM. Even though Zimmerman was ultimately exonerated, Bondi wrecked his life and she never apologized to him.

Bondi is also the reason why Florida is the only red state in the nation that has a red flag gun confiscation law. Your angry ex-wife or your mailman can now have your guns confiscated from you in Florida if they get mad and say you seem dangerous—with no constitutional due process. Pam Bondi did that.

“Oh, but Bondi did a great job defending Trump during the impeachment trial!”

Of course she did. She was paid to do that. I’m sure Michael Cohen did a good job defending President Trump in a civil trial or two back in the day. I hate to break it to all the Pam Bondi defenders, but sometimes LAWYERS don’t turn out to be wonderful people.

Why is she sitting on these Epstein files? Why weren’t they released publicly the instant that President Trump declassified them? We don’t know who’s going to win this catfight over the Epstein files, but we’re rooting for Congresswoman Luna.
