Progressive Stacey Abrams is fighting to be the next governor of Georgia – a state which she claims is the worst in the country.
Abrams was defeated by Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp in the last gubernatorial election in 2018 and the Democrat has refused to accept the fact that she lost.
Over the weekend, however, the leftist who is headed for a rematch with Kemp, slammed her own state as the “worst in the country.”
“I am tired of hearing about how we’re the best state in the country to do business when we are the worst state in the country to live,” Abrams said.
She added that she was reacting to Georgia Republicans’ long-running claim that the state is the best in the nation for doing business. She then listed several categories in which the state does not stack up well.
“Let me contextualize,” Abrams said. “When you’re No. 48 for mental health, when we’re No. 1 for maternal mortality, when you have an incarceration rate that is on the rise and wages are on the decline, then you are not the No. 1 place to live.”
Abrams claim came during an appearance at a Democrat event where she appeared alongside fellow Democrats U.S. Senators Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock, and spoke for just over 20 minutes.
The majority of Abram’s speech was dedicated to attacking Governor Kemp’s record in Georgia.
“Brian Kemp doesn’t care about our families or else he would be doing more to make sure that they were taken care of,” Abrams said. “Instead, in the midst of COVID, he passed a law to protect our companies but did nothing to protect our communities.”
Abrams’ decision to label Georgia as “the worst state” backfired almost immediately. “Stacey Abrams may think differently, but I believe Georgia is the best state to live, work, and raise a family,” Kemp tweeted in response.
“Stacey, please, we beg you, move to California or something…,” tweeted LibertarianForever.
“Stacey Abrams, don’t let the door hit you where the good Lord split you,” tweeted Paul V Kelly Sr.
After Abrams lost the gubernatorial election for the first time in 2018, she criticized new voter integrity laws passed in the state – claiming that securing the election would somehow disenfranchise black voters – something which early voting turnout has already proved to be entirely false.
Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger’s office announced last week that “more than 565,000 Georgians have voted early, which is a 153% increase from the same point in the early voting period in the 2018 primary election and a 189% increase in the 2020 primary election.”
Ship her off to china or Russia then she can evaluate if ANY of our states in America are awful to live in…Stacy Abrams is disgusting and hates America!!! Wake up people!!!
If Georgia is “the worst state”, then why is she still there?? She needs to stop trying to be like the current wh res & letting her mouth get in front of her brain.
The fat blob of excrement has been OVER feeding at the watermelon buffet to long her brain is fried from lack of oxygen, however the baboon skank doesn’t deserve to breathe valuable oxygen anyway.
