The White House has revealed the truth about Americans struggling under President Joe Biden – admitting that it’s all part of their plan for “the future of the liberal world order.”
Brian Deese, White House Director of the National Economic Council, made the admission during a recent CNN interview with Victor Blackwell. Deese attempted to justify the outrageous gas prices by saying it was necessary to achieve the left’s agenda.
Deese’s remarks came after Blackwell noted that U.S. officials have indicated that the war in Ukraine could last years.
“The military analyst, the Director of National Intelligence, they say that this could be a long war, measured in years. And I think everybody understands why this is happening,” Blackwell said.
“But is it sustainable?” Blackwell asked. “What do you say to those families who say, ‘Listen, we can’t afford to pay $4.85 a gallon for months, if not years, this is just not sustainable?’”
“Well, what you heard from the President today was a clear articulation of the stakes,” Deese responded.
“This is about the future of the liberal world order, and we have to stand firm. But at the same time, what I’d say to that family, to Americans across the country, is you have a president administration that is going to do everything in its power to blunt those price increases and bring those prices down.”
While the Biden administration has maintained that the war in Ukraine is solely responsible for the increase in gas prices, Americans were getting hit hard at the pump prior to the war thanks to Biden’s horrid energy policy.
President Biden, meanwhile, told reporters earlier in the day at brief question and answer session while in Madrid at a North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) summit that Americans should expect to suffer “as long as it takes” to beat Russia in Ukraine.
“The war has pushed prices up,” a reporter said. “They could go as high as $200 a barrel, some analysts think.”
“How long is it fair to expect American drivers and drivers around the world to pay that premium for this war?” the reporter asked.
“As long as it takes,” Biden responded, “so Russia cannot in fact defeat Ukraine and move beyond Ukraine. This is a critical, critical position for the world. Here we are. Why do we have NATO? I told Putin that in fact, if he were to move, we would move to strengthen NATO. We would move to strengthen NATO across the board.”
Biden during this same appearance, pranced around on stage blaming “Russia, Russia, Russia” for high gas prices.
A Rasmussen poll found that only 11 % of Americans believe the Biden administration’s narrative that Vladimir Putin is to blame for record high gas prices.
