Our Republican betters in the US Senate are finally saying the quiet part out loud. If all of us stinky America First people don’t abandon our infatuation with the Bad Orange Man immediately, they’re probably going to switch parties and become Democrats, or just stop being Senators altogether.
If we don’t knock it off with our insurrections and our desire for clean elections, peace and prosperity for our families, they’re just going to pick up their toys and leave.
We should welcome this long-awaited transparency, because it means that the days of these RINOs are now officially numbered.
The Hill did a series of interviews with Republican Senators about how very upset they are with their own voter base. The article is titled, “GOP senators rattled by radical conservative populism.”
If you think that the Republicans you vote to send to the US Senate are supposed to represent your interests, you are the radical to these people. If you’ve always kind of suspected that many Republican Senators hate their own voters, this should make it crystal clear.
Listen to the contempt dripping from Sen. Lisa Murkowski’s (R-AK) lips as she talks about Republican voters:
“I’m having more ‘rational Republicans’ coming up to me and saying, ‘I just don’t know how long I can stay in this party.’ Now our party is becoming known as a group of kind of extremist, populist over-the-top [people] where no one is taking us seriously anymore.”
In other words, somebody at the cocktail party in Manhattan thinks that Lisa Murkowski’s Republican voters are icky, and that’s embarrassing for Lisa.
One Republican Senator who is butt-hurt because of the Orange Bad Man spoke anonymously to The Hill, saying, “There are an astonishing number of people in my state who believe the election was stolen.”
Really? If an astonishing number of people believe that, then maybe you sort of had a duty to look into it, don’t you think?
Another anonymous coward told The Hill, “There are people who surprise me — I’m surprised they have those views. It’s amazing to me the number of people, the kind of people who think the election was stolen. I don’t want to use this word but it’s not just a ‘redneck’ thing. It’s people in business, the president of a bank, a doctor.”
Okay, do you think he’s just messing with us? I live in Southern California, and I have never met a new person in the last two-and-a-half years who doesn’t believe the election was stolen.
Sen. John Thune (R-SD), who is always a reliable Democrat vote in the Senate when it counts, told The Hill, “Are we going to get rid of the Justice Department? No. I think defunding is a really bad idea.”
He added, “That stuff comes and goes and it’s built around personalities.”
Sen. John Cornyn, the gun-grabber who mysteriously never gets primaried out in the great state of Texas, said, “It concerns me that people lose faith in their institutions, but this has been a long story throughout our history. It’s nothing new although it’s troubling.”

Lauren Boebert (R-CO) bringing articles of impeachment against his friend—that very nice man Joe Biden who is totally not an alleged creepy pedophile. He also has the ick because Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) is trying to get President Trump’s fake impeachments expunged.

Yes, I am sharing this too. Yes, the election was stolen. I don’t think the post office does a background check on employees. That should be investigated and mandatory. When abinstee ballots were mailed, 2 guys caught stealing mail. Newsom was recalled and won, abinstee ballots stolen and an group of people were going door to door in my are getting ballots signed. I have a locked mail box. 47 paste ballot boxes in the county. These boxes were not removed at night when janitors were cleaning. Judicial watch found 1.6 million fraud ballots in Los Angels county. I live in Texas and I can answer the article’s question as to why Cornyn isn’t primaries out. A bunch of Texas Republicans jump into the race and split up the vote. When that happens, the incumbant usually wins. In that case, what are we to do? Vote for the democrat? You need to add Mitch McConnell to this list. Trump saved him in 2020 when he was set to be defeated by Amy McGrath in the general election. It wasn’t because McGrath was a great candidate!
