Remember when leftists in this country said that unvaccinated people should not be allowed to have access to medical care? They meant it. They really would prefer for an unvaccinated person to just die of a heart attack in the street, rather than have a doctor lift a finger to help them.
They were not able to fulfill that erotic fantasy here in America, but Justin Trudeau’s Liberal Party in Canada has. An unvaccinated Alberta woman is now battling in the courts with her hospital and with the Canadian government, because they won’t allow her to receive a life-saving organ transplant unless she gets a COVID shot.
The woman’s name is Sheila Lewis, and she is dying of an undisclosed terminal illness. Most aspects of the case are under the Canadian equivalent of a gag order, so we don’t even know what organ she needs transplanted.
She sued the Alberta Health Services hospital and six of its physicians in 2022, because they refused to perform the life-saving organ transplant that she needs. She lost that initial case in the Alberta Court of Queen’s Bench and lost her appeal at the Alberta Court of Appeal.
Both courts found that the Alberta Bill of Rights does not apply to COVID-19 vaccine policy.
Sheila Lewis went back to the drawing board. She asked her physicians to test her blood for antibodies last year. She knew she had already had COVID twice and figured that she had natural immunity. Her doctors refused to do a blood test.
So, Ms. Lewis then enrolled in a clinical trial at Kinexus Bioinformatics Corporation to have her blood tested for COVID antibodies. The company has developed a test that checks for COVID-19 antibodies, and it has successfully checked around 4,000 people in its study. The test results for Sheila Lewis showed that her blood sample “clearly supports the presence of SARS-CoV-2 immunoreactivity.”
The test works well enough that the results showed she had COVID in September of 2021 and again more recently. The results also showed that she has extremely high levels of SARS antibodies in her system, despite first having COVID a couple of years ago.
On March 29, Ms. Lewis provided the blood sample results proving she has robust immunity against COVID to her doctors. On April 4, one of her doctors informed her that natural immunity is just not good enough. She has to take the COVID shot, otherwise she can just die from her terminal illness. The doctor even noted in the letter that he understands she clearly has immunity – but nothing has changed in terms of policy at the hospital. The policy says she has to be vaccinated to get an organ transplant, so the doctors and the hospital absolutely will not budge.
Ms. Lewis is now appealing the decisions at the lower courts to the Supreme Court of Canada. It has yet to rule on whether it will even hear her case.
It’s an absolutely awful situation. The clock is ticking on this lady’s life, and the liberals in Canada absolutely refuse to perform a lifesaving surgery that she needs, because she doesn’t want to inject herself with the experimental gene-editing mRNA goop.
As we reported just a few days ago, even the Food and Drug Administration now says people don’t need to get the first two shots in the COVID vaccination schedule. Those shots were for a strain of the virus that fizzled out and basically doesn’t exist anymore, which makes the shots pointless. (Not that the shots protected against COVID in the first place.)
Ms. Lewis’s attorney says, “The refusal to accept Ms. Lewis’s natural immunity as an alternative to Covid-19 vaccination and give her life-saving surgery is indefensible and a disgrace.”
That’s true. But it’s also the point. The medical community and the politicians hate the fact that someone like Sheila Lewis has chosen to defy them. Take your medicine, peasant!
We sincerely hope that Sheila Lewis is able to hang in there, and that she eventually receives the life-saving organ transplant that she needs. The medical community and the politicians are now saying we should move on from the pandemic policies that they imposed on us here in the US. We shouldn’t move on. Because we know that they wanted to treat all of us the same way that the Canadian government is treating Sheila Lewis.
If covid is so bad why did the homeless not come down with it???? They are dirty live in awful conditions! Why did you have to wear a mask into a restaurant only to take it off to eat???? I went to see my uncle in the hospital with a broken leg they had facial recognition, after coming through the door only 2 times that system could tell who I was even with my face covered I even changed hats and a Hoody.
