Ever since Barack Obama, the CIA and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton caused a civil war to break out in Syria in 2011, no one has explained exactly why that nation is of any interest whatsoever to America. We don’t buy oil from them. Syria has never exactly been a booming tourist destination for Americans. It’s also weird that no one in official Washington was upset about the 500,000 people who were killed in Syria by weapons that Hillary Clinton supplied to ISIS (through Benghazi).
ABC News was caught trying to hoax America into a war with Turkey. The “news” station edited together dramatic night-time footage from two separate Kentucky gun ranges, added commentary from a reporter on the ground in the Middle East, and claimed that Turkey’s Erdogan was “slaughtering” our noble Kurdish “allies.” I’m going out on a limb and saying this was not an accident on ABC’s part.
What’s really happening in Syria right now? American troops moved out over the weekend and Russian military police – Russians that Turkey’s Erdogan has no interest in fighting – have moved into the abandoned base (hopefully Trump will send Putin a bill for the tents). Russian-backed Syrian army forces hold northern Syria. The Kurds are trying to strike a deal with Assad. Blah blah blah.
Gosh, it sounds like things are going exactly the way that only President Trump and Pat Buchanan predicted! It also sounds like the mainstream media, the neocons and the entire Washington, DC establishment completely and totally lied to us (again). Russia, Syria, Turkey and the Kurds can all hash it out among themselves, and none of America’s best, brightest, bravest and most patriotic heroes in the military must die just so John Bolton’s evil moustache can finally pressure America into a war with Iran. Winning!
As for those vaunted Kurdish “allies” that President Trump is leaving “to be slaughtered,” they’ll be fine. The Kurds have never been good neighbors to anyone anyway.
The Kurds slaughtered the civilian villages of Bartillah, Bakhdida, Badna, Basihra and Karmlis in the sort of act that has a tendency to tick off the Syrians. The Kurds even broke down the doors to the Christian monastery in Bakhdida, before gang-raping and beheading all the nuns. Everyone in Syria is still kind of mad about this, even though the Kurds’ Assyrian campaign happened way back in 1261 AD.
There is no “Kurdistan” in the Middle East today because the Kurds didn’t bother to show up to the meeting in 1915 when the United Kingdom, France and Russia partitioned the Middle East tribes into various nations at the breakup of the Ottoman Empire. The Kurds were furious about this, so they helped the Turks carry out the genocide of Armenian Christians later that year.
Yes, some of the Kurds were our allies this time in Syria. They’ll ally with anyone who gives them some guns and points them at their neighbors. But somehow stationing a bunch of American Green Berets on the Syria-Turkey border is not going to sort out that powder keg which has been continuously erupting for the last 1,000 years. Uh huh.
Everyone from Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) to Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) is super worried and outraged about the situation on the Syria-Turkey border. Isn’t there a border much closer to the USA that the elites should be more worried about? Let’s check!

Those all happened last week.
But please, Senator Graham and the entire mainstream media, tell us more about how we should all be super worried about the Kurds and the Turkey-Syria border, and how President Trump has made a “serious” foreign policy blunder.
