Violent Migrants in Europe Prove Need for Border Security

The open borders promoting liberals in Europe have apparently gotten more than their fill of the criminal migrant element that comes with their agenda, and recent clashes highlight precisely why the United States must remain vigilant and defend our Southern border.

With Turkey and Syria embroiled in a long-standing turf war, residents who live in the war zone have fled to areas the European Union manages based on the sanctuary-like policies pushed by globalists such as German Chancellor Angela Merkel. Thousands recently amassed at the Turkey-Greece border, seeking an opportunity to fill out an asylum application and slip into Europe.

But after violent crime including rape, robbery, and murder spiked, and radical Muslims created No Go Zones banning native-born Europeans within areas of their own country, a conservative backlash has reversed the political establishment. The U.K. is implementing Brexit, Merkel is on her way out, and the liberal elite is quickly being replaced by popular nationalists that mirror the policies of U.S. Pres. Donald J. Trump.

When denied access into Greece, the Turkish and Syrian migrants attacked border security officers.“Greek authorities faced an organized, massive and illegal attempt of border violation,” Greece spokesman Stelios Petsas reportedly said. “We will strengthen our forces on land and at sea. The government is determined to do whatever it takes to protect our borders.”

Turkish Pres. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan recently mocked the EU globalists who are now shutting down their borders.

“Look who’s lecturing us on international law! They’re shamelessly throwing tear gas bombs on thousands of innocents piled at their gates,” Erdoğan reportedly said. “We don’t have an obligation to stop people leaving our country, but Greece has the duty to treat them as human beings.”

The situation in Europe should sound eerily familiar to everyday Americans who were lied to by the mainstream media that migrants sneaking across the U.S.-Mexico border were only well-meaning mothers and their children seeking to work hard and buy homes with white picket fences.

Since President Trump shined a spotlight on who’s actually trying to infiltrate our borders—violent offenders, human traffickers, and cartel drug smugglers—American sentiment has changed drastically.

Images coming out of the recent violence at the Greek border show smashed border police vehicle windshields, Molotov cocktails being hurled, and law enforcement forced to disperse the violent mob with tear gas. The scene was a near mirror image of the thousands-strong migrant caravans trying to overrun U.S. Border Patrol officers. In the U.S., President Trump has repeatedly called out Sanctuary City leaders over the murders of America’s sons and daughters.

Inside the European Union, other countries are now shoring up their border defenses to stem the tide should Greece suffer a breach. Austria is already making preparations to close its border in the event the more than 4,000 migrants crash through Greece.

“If the protection of the EU’s external border is unsuccessful, Austria will protect its borders,” Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz reportedly said.

In the U.S., the Obama-judges at the “Nutty” Ninth District Court of Appeals in California have gone back and forth on an attempt to force an end to the Trump Administration’s “Remain in Mexico” policy that has gotten much of the illegal immigration problem under control.

President Trump, like the former open-borders leaders in Europe, may also need to close the southern border to control the flood of violent offenders and the spread of coronavirus.
