Trey Gowdy Says FBI Kept Detailed Transcripts While Illegally Wiretapping Trump Campaign

Do you get the sense that Republicans in Congress have been really frustrated that they can’t tell us certain things about the bogus Russiagate hoax? Being a former congressman and Fox News contributor now, Trey Gowdy finally let the cat out of the bag over the weekend.

Gowdy came just short of releasing technically classified information on Maria Bartiromo’s program. And when he said it, it was one of those lightbulb-coming-on moments that makes you think, “Duh! Why didn’t I think of that?”

Here’s what Gowdy pointed out:

When the FBI spies on someone, they always make a transcript of it.

Duh! Why didn’t I think of that?

We now know that the FBI under James Comey and the CIA under John Brennan – both Obama appointees and Clinton cronies – sent a swarm of spies after Trump aid George Papadopoulos. It was like an all-star cast from an Austin Powers movie.

They sent former rogue MI6 spook Christopher Steele in.

There was “The Professor” Stephan Halper – Destroyer of All-You-Can-Eat Buffets.

There was “Azra Turk,” the sexy and flirty honeypot who tried to seduce Papadopoulos.

There was Joseph Mifsud, the international man of mystery (but really just another CIA asset).

There were even a couple of foreign ambassadors thrown into the mix.

The team was so bumbling and inept that George Papadopoulos was led to think, “Gosh, these are all a bunch of spies and they are bumbling and inept.”

Trey Gowdy points out that there is a paper trail for all of this spying that took place – and he’s seen a key piece of evidence that proves the innocence of the Trump campaign.

Gowdy notes that one of the early transcripts of the FBI spying operation against Papadopoulos will be a “game changer” if the public is ever allowed to see it. In other words, the FBI and the CIA knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that Christopher Steele’s opposition research “dossier” was garbage and they used it anyway to get a FISA warrant to spy on Carter Page and thus everyone in the Trump campaign.

Kudos to Gowdy for pointing out that – of course – the FBI has a transcript of the spying ops against Papadopoulos. But that raises still more questions.

The FBI lied to the FISA court to get a warrant to spy on Carter Page. How was a multinational spying operation in the UK, Italy and Australia authorized? Was there a FISA warrant to spy on George Papadopoulos, or does this go higher up the food chain than the FISA court?

Was this a black op that was authorized by someone sitting in the Oval Office? Was it organized by then-CIA Director and former communist John Brennan?

Remember: When Congressman Mark Meadows asked from FBI General Counsel James Baker whether there were more FISA warrants against Trump campaign associates floating around that Congress was unaware of, Baker clammed up and refused to answer the question.

Meadows has been one of the most frustrated Members of Congress, along with Devin Nunes, in calling for all the FISA warrants and other materials to be declassified. It’s not as if there were any actual Russians involved in the entire hoax.

Robert Mueller claims in his report that Joseph Mifsud is a “Russian spy,” and that his meeting with Papadopoulos was the catalyst for the entire Russia hoax investigation.

Just one problem with that: Joseph Mifsud is not a Russian. He’s a Maltese professor who works at a place called the Link Campus in Rome. The Link Campus is a training ground for western intelligence agents for the FBI and CIA.

Mifsud sort of vanished right after Mueller interviewed him for the Special Witch Hunter probe, but now he’s been located. He’s living right next door to the US embassy (and super-secret CIA headquarters) in Rome.

President Trump called the Prime Minister of Italy just a few days ago to let him know Mifsud’s location and his role in the Russiagate hoax. The Prime Minister’s response was immediate. He fired six top intelligence deputies from Italy’s intelligence services. The jig is up.

According to Papadopoulos, this is a sign that the Italians are rolling over on John Brennan’s role in the Russia hoax.

If Trey Gowdy is correct about the transcripts – and it sure sounds like he’s seen them – then I can’t wait to see them. The jig is up, and real information is finally starting to pour in.

The biggest question that the American voters want an answer to now is this one: Are heads going to roll?
