The Biden administration’s chaotic scene at the southern border has the American taxpayer spending a massive amount of money on healthcare for illegal immigrants – even as 30 million Americans can’t afford insurance themselves.
Biden and company are forcing Americans to pay for a $324 million annual healthcare bill for illegal aliens in Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) custody according to ICE’s year-end report.
The agency revealed that “providing medical care, including mental healthcare, to all detained” illegal aliens came with a massive price tag in fiscal year 2022 – and is expected to cost even more in 2023 as costs continue to rise and more and more migrants come into our country illegally.
The report notes, “In FY 2022, [ICE Health Service Corps] operating budget approached $324 million. During this time, it provided direct care – including medical and dental health services – to over 118,000 noncitizens housed at 19 IHSC-operated facilities throughout the United States, which exceeded 1.1 million visits over the course of the fiscal year. IHSC also oversaw compliance with healthcare-related detention standards for more than 120,500 noncitizens housed in 163 non-IHSC-staffed facilities.”
The 2022 cost rose roughly $8 million from the year prior where the taxpayers foot the $316 bill for illegal’s healthcare.
This hefty amount of taxpayer money spent without the consent of the people comes at a time when the CDC estimates that more than 30 million Americans do not have health insurance themselves – including 27.5 million working-age adults.
The $320 million+ for free healthcare is added onto the other things taxpayers are forced to pay for illegals. Americans have to subsidize at least $18.5 billion of annual medical costs for illegal aliens living in the United States, as per estimates by Chris Conover, formerly of the Center for Health Policy and Inequalities Research at Duke University.
Americans overwhelmingly do not support being forced to spend this money. According to a CNN poll (which tends to be more illegal-friendly) 6 in 10 Americans oppose using taxpayer dollars to provide free healthcare services to illegals – including 63 percent of swing voters.
Biden’s wide open borders continue to allow more illegals to walk right into America and the crisis is only getting worse.
The Democrats refuse to deal with the migrant crisis and Biden’s DHS is even taking steps to ensure that more illegal aliens get to stay in America – even after being arrested for committing violent crimes.
Shortly after taking office, Biden’s top DHS officials issued so-called “sanctuary country” policies that prevented Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents from arresting and deporting most of the nation’s illegal aliens.
Even while those policies remain held up in federal court, Biden’s DHS has slashed the number of ICE detainers issued for illegal aliens arrested for crimes and held in local jails across the U.S. The detainers request that local officials hold illegal aliens in their custody until ICE agents can take over custody.
The ICE report shows agents issued fewer than 79,000 detainers for criminal illegal aliens in Fiscal Year 2022 — a 56 percent decline in the total number of detainers issued by ICE agents compared to Fiscal Year 2018 when total migration numbers were FAR lower.
Biden is making America a more dangerous place to be – and forcing taxpayers to foot the bill.

Taxpayers are also paying for free food, education, health care, lawyers, transportation and other welfare benefits for millions of illegal immigrants already here. I have Medicare and pay over $ 200 a month for a supplement and pay an extra $ 65 a month for a Part D prescription plan that has a large deductible that’s taken out of my Social Security check. This is on a fixed income of around $ 1,500 a month. Half goes for rent, utilities run $ 150, then I have car insurance, and all those other things and sometimes I have to make a decision of whether to get medicine or not or ask my grown children. Especially this time of year when deductible isn’t paid. Went to Social Security Administration for extra help and was denied because I make too much money.
Biden you can’t force us to do anything. First of all you are not our REAL PRESIDENT and second of all, you can take the money that is needed for this out of your own pocket.
