Illegal immigrants from Afghanistan, India, Pakistan and Syria were apprehended last week crossing the Rio Grande River across the southern border of the U.S. into Texas.
The Border Patrol continues to encounter illegal immigrants from a growing number of nations, according to the original report from retired Border Patrol agent Randy Clark in a Breitbart Texas report.
Four of the alleged individuals among a group of seven people apprehended last Wednesday identified themselves as citizens of Afghanistan. Two additional individuals were from India and one was a citizen of Pakistan.
Later the same day, the Del Rio Sector discovered four Syrian citizens among migrants apprehended crossing the southern border. The arrests are among several people considered citizens of special interest migrants.
Conservatives once warned that potential terrorist from places like the Middle East would attempt to take advantage of President Biden’s open borders policy to gain entry into the United States. The acts of terror part has thankfully not happened yet, but the immigrants from hostile nations are here. We’re not talking about someday. This was days ago.
It’s not the first time, and it’s unlikely the last. Perhaps more concerning are the tens of thousands of illegal border crossers Border Patrol has missed this year, increasingly due to limited resources from the Biden administration. Could there already be a person with terror on their mind, making their way up from Southern Texas?
It doesn’t help that tens of thousands of unvetted Afghan refugees also moved onto U.S. military bases this year. Americans are glad to help those in need, but bringing these people halfway around the planet instead of to a neighboring country is bound to lead to some serious issues in the days ahead.
In some cases, it already has. A few crimes have already been reported among the Afghan refugees in the U.S. One refugee was arrested for raping a teenage girl in Montana. In other situations, Afghans have left a base and simply disappeared.
This is not just an immigration issue. We are now talking about top level national security problems added to every other dumpster fire Biden has started this year. In addition to a pipeline cyber attack, a failed military departure from Afghanistan, inflation, rising gas prices, staffing shortages, supply chain shortages and a list of other concerns, Americans are growing increasingly worried that our open border could lead to open war.
It also doesn’t look like the problem will end soon. Every day, the latest report of another migrant caravan headed toward the U.S. appears in the news. The next Del Rio could happen any and maybe every day if the problem escalates.
We’ve gone from helping the third world to becoming the third world in less than a year under Joe Biden’s leadership. It’s time to make a comeback and protect our nation before it’s too late.
