A leaked State Department cable revealed less than 7 percent of Monday’s Afghanistan evacuees were Americans, as the Biden administration continues to airlift thousands of refugees while U.S. citizens remain trapped in the nation controlled by the Taliban, according to a new report.
“NEW: Leaked State cable with evacuation numbers (as of Aug 23 at 1500 ET): Total manifested since midnight Kabul AUG 23: 483 AMCITS, 6,425 Afghans natls, 8 3rd country/unknown. Total = 6,916,” Politico reporter Alex Ward tweeted on Tuesday.
“Total manifested since op began: 4,407 AMCITS, 21,533 Afghans, 642 TCNs. Total = 26,582,” he added.
That’s just seven percent of those from the past recorded day. For the operation, that’s just 17 percent!
Former President Trump recently posted a picture of a U.S. military plane filled with hundreds of Afghans with the words, “This plane should be filled with Americans!”
He’s right. Yes, a lot of people in Afghanistan are hurting. But we are America. Getting Americans out should be Biden’s top priority.
Instead, Biden and friends are in the process of bringing tens of thousands of Afghans to live on Americans military bases. This is not a joke! As many as 13,000 are scheduled to arrive at Fort Bliss in El Paso, Texas. As if the crisis at our southern border isn’t enough, Biden is sending five figures-worth of Middle Eastern immigrants to a military bases to be distributed in towns across America eventually. You can’t make this stuff up!
Also planned are Afghan refugees on military bases in Wisconsin, Virginia and New Jersey. In New Jersey, a massive tent city is under construction. We are now a refugee nation that increasingly looks like the third-world countries we once fought to protect.
The plans are currently under crisis mode, but will soon turn to what happens next with these tens of thousands of Afghan refugees? Airbnb, the Uber-equivalent of housing, has offered free temporary housing to 20,000 Afghans.
But then what? Will these refugees move into our neighborhoods and schools? Will they be funded by our tax dollars so they don’t have to work? Will they be given eventual citizenship and be able to vote? Where does it end?
A great exchange is now taking place in our nation, but it’s really not so great. Masses of new immigrants are entering our country under Biden’s policies via the southern border and Afghanistan. At the same time, Americans in Afghanistan are abandoned. Before long, our nation will transition to look more like the nations from where these immigrants are coming. Yes, America has long been an immigrant nation, but a legal immigrant nation. These masses of people will soon impact our communities in ways we never imagined, from language and economy to religion and business.
If we want an America First agenda, it needs to happen now before it’s too late. Otherwise, America may soon no longer be recognizable as the land of the free and the home of the brave.
