Quick quiz: How many statewide public officials in the United States have been willing to place their careers on the line by telling the truth about the 2020 election? We’ll make it easier by leaving out elected positions like Secretaries of State and Attorneys General, since most people have never heard of them outside of their home states. That leaves 100 US Senators and 50 state governors. How many of them will tell the truth publicly about the last presidential election?
I’m drawing a total blank on that question. None of them have had the courage to question the 2020 election results or state the truth about it. Until this week.
Governor Kay Ivey (R-AL) of Alabama has released her first campaign video of the season. She’s up for reelection this fall. Her new campaign video is called “Stole” and she fires a torpedo right at the enemies of America. Ivey states, plainly and on camera:
“The fake news, Big Tech and blue state liberals stole the election from President Trump.”
Uh… wow! Why haven’t Mitch McConnell, Ted Cruz or Ron DeSantis been saying that for the past 17 months? Why haven’t any of them even said it one time in the last 17 months? I can only think of two Members of Congress who are brave enough to say the election was stolen, and a third who occasionally mentions it in passing.
Ivey also states in the ad:
“We have not, and will not, send absentee ballots to everyone and their brother. We banned corrupt curbside voting, and our results will always be audited. I’m Kay Ivey. The Left is probably offended. So be it. As long as I’m governor, we’re going to protect your vote.”
If I lived in Alabama, I’d have my checkbook out for Ivey right now.
While Ivey is probably belated in her statement, at least she has had the courage to say what 90+ percent of Trump voters believe. What’s Mitch McConnell up to this week?
In his pitch to the voters, he says that if we put him and Kevin McCarthy in charge of the House and Senate in the November midterms, they are going to “make sure Joe Biden is a moderate.”
Hey, Mitch: We don’t want you to turn Joe Biden into a moderate (which he’s never been). We want you to turn Joe Biden into a eunuch. We want the Biden-Harris regime impeached and removed from office for, as Joe Biden put it, assembling “the largest voter fraud organization in US history.” We want the 2020 election declared null and void due to fraud, and we want the president that the American people elected restored to the office that he rightfully won. And then finally, we want a nationwide, congressional ban on all mail-in voting and drop boxes just like a majority of European countries operate.
That’s what we want. By declaring that they’ll “make sure Joe Biden is a moderate,” what McConnell is really saying is that he will make things get back to the status quo in The Swamp. The woke insanity of the first two years of the fake Biden regime will come to an end when the Democrats are removed from power, but then Mitch McConnell will be back to doing what he does best: Crafting massive “compromise” bills with the Democrat Party that no one in the Republican Party wants. Look for a “comprehensive immigration bill” first thing in the next congress, a bipartisan revamp of Obamacare to undo the positive changes that President Trump initiated to that abomination, and probably a ban on “ghost guns” that don’t even exist. And pork, pork, pork as far as the eye can see.
Mitch McConnell couldn’t even rein his own caucus in last week to prevent a community apologist for pedophiles from being appointed to the Supreme Court. So, he’s not going to rein Joe Biden in.
The litmus test that we should all have as the 2022 primaries are upon us is whether or not Republican candidates are not only violently opposed to the left’s woke politics, but also have the courage to say the un-sayable thing. If they don’t have the guts to say the obvious thing about the 2020 election that we all believe, why should they deserve our vote?
