Dang it! Have you ever experienced a moment of agreement with an arch-nemesis when you just have to give credit where credit is due to them? That’s what I’m feeling today upon learning that the Biden regime has ramped up and amplified the torture of Trump supporters locked in a DC gulag jail, following coverage of their treatment by Fox News’ Mark Levin.
It causes me ulcerous pain to admit that Mark Levin actually did a good thing, by highlighting the torture of the Trump supporters on his show last weekend. Dang it!
Before I talk about Levin’s show and the criminal Biden regime’s response to it, I have to do something that no mainstream media “journalist” will do for you. I’m going to offer you full disclosure.
If Fox News’ Mark Levin entered my zip code right now, I’d challenge him to a duel-to-the-death with claw hammers and brass knuckles in a dark alley. I have a personal beef with Levin that dates back to 2008, and I do not like or trust the guy. All that Levin would have to do to clear this up is publicly apologize to some friends of mine, but he’s been too arrogant to do that for the past 13-plus years.
When I worked for one of the alphabet networks as a political reporter back in 2008, I was precluded from covering the presidential race that year. This was due to my close personal friendship with Todd and Sarah Palin (there were still journalistic standards that existed in 2008). However, I wasn’t banned from talking about the race in non-news formats, such as talk radio. So, when Mark Levin’s producers called me and wanted to chat about the race in August of 2008, I said, “Sure.”
During that live, nationally syndicated interview, Levin uttered a vile and venomous conspiracy theory to me about Sarah Palin that… caused me to lose my temper a bit. As in, I was so mad at Levin that I actually said a bunch of words that no one is allowed to say on the radio. I might have even used the word “California” as an adjective in describing Levin’s phony brand of conservatism.
How mad was I? I was Flamin’ Hot Cheetos in a volcano on the surface of the sun mad. My boss actually ran over to my cubicle at the news station and hung up my phone, before I did any more career-ending damage to myself on a live, nationally syndicated radio show.
Anyway, Levin and I don’t get along. So, it pains me to say that Levin’s show last weekend, in which he highlighted the awful treatment of the jailed Trump supporters, was pretty decent. Despite our personal differences, Levin and I both still believe in the uniting principle that we are all supposed to be “equal under the law” in the United States of America. And the Trump supporters jailed in DC (mostly for misdemeanor trespassing charges) are anything but equal under the law right now.
Following the segment that Levin did on how the Trump supporters are being tortured under international law, one of the jailed Trumpers was able to send this message to his mother:
“We just found out they are locking us down for an entire week in retaliation for that Levin special on us last night. No phone calls, no rec time, 5 min shower, 24 hrs in our cells. They are trying to silence us for getting the truth out.”
Good grief! The Trump supporters were already suffering under 23 hours per day of solitary confinement in their cages (a direct violation of human rights conventions and international laws). Now they’re stuck in their cages for 23 hours and 55 minutes per day, with just 5 minutes to shower.
As we’ve reported previously, the Trump supporters are sleeping on a concrete slab in their cells, with no blankets. They are denied human contact. They are denied soap and toilet paper in their cells. They are frequently tied up and beaten by their guards who hurl racist insults at them while punching the daylights out of them. This is torture, and Joe Biden and Kamala Harris deserve to be impeached for it.
So… it hurts me to say it, but, “Good Job, Mark Levin.” So far, Levin is the only mainstream media figure with a national televised platform who has stood up for the jailed Trump supporters. Credit where credit is due. I guess I’ll have to give Levin a verbal warning the next time he enters my zip code. But I’m still mad at him.
