Have you noticed how quiet it’s gotten lately regarding what was supposedly the most pressing moral issue of our time a couple of months ago? Back in December, teaching kids Critical Race Theory is schools was the “civil rights battle of our time.” Democrats were howling with apoplectic rage, 24-7, about the subject. 81-Million Joe Biden was unleashing the Justice Department on parents just for complaining about CRT. And now they’re as quiet as a church mouse. Gee, what happened?
Fortunately, we can pinpoint the exact moment that the Democrats and the mainstream media stopped insisting that CRT should be taught in schools. It was when Glenn Youngkin trounced a member of the Clintons’ inner circle to win the governorship of Virginia.
The Democrats hated the fact that Youngkin and Virginia parents were pushing back against racism being taught to kids in school. They hated that all of us uppity parents believed that taxpaying parents should have a say about what’s taught in school.
The hilarious thing about it is that the media and the Democrats actually thought they were winning that fight! Their heads are so far up in La La Land that they thought they were on the right side and that parents would turn out in droves to vote for the Democrat, because “Oh, yes, we all agree with you that concerned parents are domestic terrorists.”
When Youngkin won, they knew exactly how and why they lost. And that’s when they went dead silent about Critical Race Theory in schools. The peace and quiet since then has been kind of nice. But don’t be fooled by it. They will quietly reinstate CRT in an instant if the Democrats remain in power after the midterms this November.
What I really wish is the Republican candidates running in 2022 would pick up on this and use it to win in November. When people see how truly insane and totalitarian the Democrats are on certain issues, they’ll vote them out of office. It’s the Jesse Kelly Rule of Political Battle: Figure out what the communist hates and FEED IT TO HIM!
The will double-, triple- and quadruple-down on an insane policy that drives voters away from them. Are you listening, GOP candidates?
Governor Ron DeSantis is a master of this tactic and it’s why so many Republican voters from around the country love him. DeSantis recently signed a bill into law that you’ve probably heard about – the Don’t Groom Little Kids Act. It prohibits public school teachers from teaching sexual content to kindergarten through third grade kids.
Any parent with an ounce of common sense and a protective instinct toward their children knows that you don’t teach them sexual content at that age. If you do, that’s not “education.” It’s creepy pedophile grooming of children. Little kids that age should be taught how to color inside the lines and how to read. They shouldn’t be taught about gay sex or straight sex or how they can someday win the NCAA women’s swimming championships with this one weird trick.
But Democrats have gone completely insane about this. It’s hard to believe that they would hand Republicans such a gift right before the 2022 midterms, but it’s really happening. Allowing pedophiles to groom little kids in public schools is the latest insane hill that Democrats are somehow willing to die on.
They’ve gone nuts about this law, falsely labeling it the “Don’t Say Gay” act. It never even says the word “gay” in the legislation. The Democrats are running around posting videos of themselves blurting out the word “Gay!” in public to protest DeSantis and the law – because that’s not crazy or anything.
They’re even purchasing billboard ads to run across Florida this coming weekend that just have the word “GAY” emblazoned on them (the ads, of course, are printed with black-and-white Illuminati imagery, because the Democrats are nothing if not predictable).
My point is that Republican candidates should be focused on these issues like a laser beam, because they are losing issues that their Democrat opponents cannot speak out against. Their own leftist Twitter mobs would tear any Democrat apart who dares to speak against CRT or grooming kids in schools.
Dear Republicans: Pin your opponents down on these issues between now and November. Ask them point-blank in debates – Do you support letting teachers groom kids in school? Do you support schools teaching the racist principles of CRT? Do you believe that parents have no right to discuss the materials that are taught in their kids’ schools? Make them answer those questions, and you’ll sail to victory in the midterms.
Unfortunately too many Republicans in D.C. are just too laid back and are thumb twiddlers!!
